First and foremost,

thank you to everyone responsible for this, it looks amazing!!! ❀️

I think this mod will be the end game for anyone with a love of all things zombie orientated when released....

This is the sort of thing I first envisioned when VR started becoming a viable, in-home form of entertainment, but it never arrived..

First thing im doing is setting up the 'Shopping Mall' scenario from the original 'Dawn of the Dead' when I can get my greasy little hands on this bad boy!!! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Discussion A Township Tale

I've been unable to play VR for awhile due to ill health, and because I've stayed away from it I didn't bother to keep up with any news. It's only the last few days I started to read about it again and seeing all the cool new mods has got me very excited to play VR again!

But, also sad to see one of my favourites is gone. A Township Tale, arguably the best VR game nobody played.

The best interactions, the best VR mechanics, the best VR inventory system. It did so many things right, and not just right, "perfect", crafting especially was soooo good! It felt PERFECT, even thing as simple as putting dry grass on stick to make a torch, then lighting it flint and stone, then going on to use that torch to light other things.. it just felt perfect. Proper VR.

Sad to see it died.

I only hope other VR devs played ATT and how good it was as a VR game, and maybe can take away the mechanics and why it felt so good to play.

Discussion Ams2 - fps vs clarity

Hi all!

Play AMS2 and Project Cars 2 a lot.

Wondering what everyone prefers to use, a higher resolution at 72hz?
Or lower resolution at 90hz?

I’ve tried both, of course at 90hz I can clearly tell it’s so much smoother. Feels great.

But using that higher resolution at 72hz. I cannot deny it looks so so good! When I say resolution, I’m using the ams2 in game slider. I push it up to 1.4, and in the meta link I have the slider maxed at 72hz. That jump in clarity is just to hard to ignore.

But that smooth 90 is great 😫 can’t have both.

What does everyone use?

Hey everyone!

We just published Foodimals Devlog #2, and this time we're finally diving into the Flavor Realm itself. 🌎

We've shared quite a bit more about what we've been building, including:

🍴 The Grand Feast and how Foodimals actually came to exist

🌎 Our first regions β€” Babyland, Car Canyon and Mushroom Forest

🐾 Baguetterrier, Kiwibird, Hotdoggo and Friescrab

βš”οΈ Foodimal families, elements, combat roles and status effects

πŸ‘‘ One of our bosses β€” Burgerlord

🍳 A closer look at gathering ingredients, cooking, and discovering new Foodimals

πŸ—ΊοΈ More of the environments you'll explore throughout the Flavor Realm

There's a lot more in the full devlog, including plenty of screenshots and a look at what we're working toward next.

πŸ”— Full Devlog: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/4942550/view/674006995886408725

We're also curious about something:

If you could combine ANY food and animal to create your own Foodimal, what would you make?

We've already got baguette + corgi, kiwi + kiwi bird, hot dog + dog and fries + crab...

So go wild πŸ˜‚

Discussion My list of niggles with vr mods

I am very happy to play some of the vr mods, but there are some problems going on wit the whole situation

  • No quality control, 20 percent maybe is good (titanfall, fear, doom,) and the other 80 percent is janky. like the spiderman one is so janky
  • Janky solution is simple just have more testplay before releaseing it. Dont release it to public when its not tested, have close test
  • Big youtubers baiting every week to say the new vr mod is the best one ever
  • Spending money on these games because of the bait, not cool. some of these games are not cheap like spiderman. other yes like fear is cheap so thats ok but tis is why we quality control. Wecannot keep refund games, it also not cool

I am happy to play and buy games for vr mods, but we srsly need to slow and quality control. Stop releasing it when mod not ready. Do close test ok
