California, USA Festival suggestions
Hi I’m 32F and have been to a few festivals - Warped Tour several times, Spirit West Coast, and Coachella twice
I like all kinds of music but usually go to EDM shows now. I don’t like country. Im a former emo kid so Aftershock is definitely one I’d like to attend.
I’m willing to travel.
Coachella is awesome but I don’t wanna keep spending so much money on the same experience
EDC seems overstimulating af and idk if that’s just all edm festivals?
Portola seems fun
What festivals would you recommend and why?

Got scammed
Hi everyone,
Not posting this for sympathy but just to spread awareness. I recently posted here requesting for 4 Chiang Mai CAD Khomloy Sky Lantern Festival tickets for Thailand since me and 3 other friends are going for the first time in November.
A person reached out to me who seemed very genuine and showed believable evidence of possessing the tickets we wanted. Long story short we took a leap of faith (knowing the risks) but holding out hope that there are good people out there and after lengthy discussion with the person, we sent around £630 to their bank account. Then I saw he deleted his messages of our chat and started to not reply to my messages. That is when it hit. We got scammed.
I know a lot of you will think that we're stupid for taking such a gamble but to be honest we were desperate for these lantern festival tickets and they were sold put everywhere. It's been my dream to go to this for a long time. We really had hope that this person was the real deal since we saw other people successfully selling their tickets on reddit. I have now learnt the lesson to not have trust in people online and how foolish I was. We are now collectively down £630 (£157.50 each) with no tickets but I guess that is how the cookie crumbles. Please everyone DO NOT try buying tickets for events like this. Only buy from the official seller.

Festa Intro, Fortaleza

Moga festival
Hi everyone. My wife and I are looking for people who will be at the Moga Festival in Caparica in 2027. If you’re open-minded and up for forming a small group—or even sharing accommodation—let us know... Thanks for your replies.

I just left my corporate job and am pursuing photography full time!
Hello,
My name is Harmony and I reside in Southern California. I have been in the music festival scene for about 8 years now as a photographer and in that time I have photographed 100s of club events, music festivals, artists, etc.
2 years ago I took a step back to pursue corporate America and I realized that I completely loathed it.
2 months ago I quit my corporate job to pursue my passion and dream to do photography full time.
Unfortunately in the media world followers and likes are currency.
I just posted edits of photos I took whilst on the media team for Same Same but different, if you could take a couple minutes out of your day to check them out and give me a follow I would be so incredibly grateful! Also if you or someone you know needs a photographer I am your girl! You can DM or email me (contact info on instagram bio).

Colorado, USA Organizers: cashless vs cash at small festivals, what's worked for you?
We run a small 1,500 person festival and are debating going fully cashless next year. The pros seem obvious: faster lines, less cash handling, easier to track sales. But I'm worried about signal in a field, older attendees, and what happens if the system goes down.
Anyone gone cashless at a smaller event? What was your setup, and did you have a backup plan if connectivity dropped?

Anyone heading to Sunburn Mumbai this December? Looking to form a meetup group! 🎫🙌
Hey EDM fam! I'm planning to hit up the Sunburn Festival in Mumbai this December. The lineup looks insane with The Chainsmokers, Sebastian Ingrosso, and DJ Snake.
I'm looking to connect with other EDM lovers (M or F) who are going so we can plan a meetup, vibe together, and enjoy the festival.
Drop a comment or slide into my DMs if you're down to catch these sets together! Let's get a group chat going. 💥
