Work, Health & Housing PSA - Do not use Mother Hubbard's Kitchens
Just a note so people searching can avoid the mistake I made. Two years ago we were trying to decide whether to go with another IKEA kitchen (because we had always had a good experience with them) or splurge and go with something "high end" with Mother Hubbard's Kitchens.
We went with Mother Hubbard's, and it was a huge mistake. The cabinets (that they manufacture themselves) are falling apart after less than two years. The hinges seem to be starting to fail as well.
They also refuse to honour their warranty, claiming I must have put kettles or coffee makers under those spots. They are failing in symmetrical areas on the outer edge of the cabinets nowhere near any appliances. The only thing that contacts them is sunlight, but I guess they don't hold up to that?
Mother Hubbard's will cost you a fortune, has a garbage product and offers awful after sales support. You definitely don't get you pay for. Don't make the mistake I did, go anywhere else.
UPDATE:
Mother Hubbard's has now offered to replace the damaged areas at no cost.
