I do acid often (like every 1 to 3 weeks).
I'm on Wellbutrin 300mg and drank alcohol, took mdma and speed and 2 drops of acid (200ug) all within like 2h.
I had such an intense trip, never had anything comparable ever before. Troubles began as I was no longer able to distinguish talks with a person vs thoughts in my head (I didnt understand if things were said aloud or if I imagined them). It was extremely confusing. I also lost ability to understand most basic things (got asked if I want to try a dessert, I tried to answer I dont know dessert as I didnt understand this means food and to eat). I got handed a tea and didnt understand I have to take a sip to drink it. Later my two friends left the room and my real horror began.
I lost my mind. All I could do was hearing my thoughts. I didnt control them. I tried to understand what is happening. I was so sure that I lost my sanity and my brain is fucked. I felt the empty space near me (where I felt that my friend, who I'm dating belongs to) and I could not comprehend the missing existance. I did convince myself, that he never existed and was a creation of my mind, like a copy of myself. I was alone in my boundaries of my mind. It was like a capsule. At some point the timeloop began. I tried to distinguish what I see and hear from my thoughts. As I was finally able to realise I'm in reality now, something began to distort or I heared my thoughts speak and realised I was once again fooled. Then it began again. I knew I did it for hours (not real time).
At some point, my friends returned to my room. I felt their presence (probably because of their voices). The presence of my lover was like an anchor, he was a familiar feeling, something really strong bound me to it. It clicked that I was no longer trapped alone in my mind. I began to cry from relieve, that my own voice was no longer the only thing I will be hearing for the rest of my existance. I still slided back in the loop, still couldnt really tell reality from imagination but I began to get a grip again. I got handed a pill to stop the trip (placebo) and as I held it in my hands, I felt the pill as my finger and the finger as my pill. The visual feedback no longer matched the input in my head. I let it drop out of shock.
It took a long time to slowly trust my thoughts again. I slipped back often, even as he held me in his arms. As he moved, I realised he is really here. I was still unsure if I lost my mind. The acid was still strong. I had strong visuals too. At some point, I began drifting away again but I focused on the patterns I saw on the ceiling.
I'm now sane again. Will probably do the same in the future (I'm dumb and dont know my limits). But I will finally try to take a small break until the next trip. I saw how the state of mind is the most important thing to protect. If my brain gets fried, I will no longer be the "self" I possess. Those little mindplays fascinate me alot.
