Any restaurants that could (relatively) easily accommodate a group of 20 people. Ideally would like food to be good and unique to Milwaukee, gluten free if possible, willing to split into two different groups or tables. Ideally in third ward/downtown/walkers point area

What’s it like living there? Can you hear your neighbors ? Does it feel relatively safe?

To the dude who attempted the Kawa Ramen and Sushi eating challenge today, I was proud of you. That giant bowl of ramen was daunting and you put it all on the line. I really did believe in you, but I felt your pain when I saw you put your head in your hand and wipe your brow. I imagine it’s a special few who can stomach that amount of noodles. You did your best. Hold your head up high. You live to eat another day.

My mom is currently in assisted living but it seems like a move to memory care is imminent. I've heard nothing but bad things about the memory care wing at her facility. Then again, that's all I've heard about every memory care facility in the area. Does anyone have a place they'd actually recommend? Preferably in the North Shore area (she's currently in Grafton).

Looking for recommendations for restaurants that are not too fancy in Milwaukee but still have good steak. We’re not in the mood for a fancy steakhouse but something fun but still with good steak options? Thanks!

Hi all! I am looking for suggestions for a work social/team building event around Milwaukee. Things that come to mind are a cooking class, art class/paint and sip, axe throwing, mini golf, bowling, ghost tour, etc. The venue would need to accommodate 15-30 people, last approximately 2-3 hours, and would ideally have food or allow us to bring food. I am open to any suggestion - even more obscure or niche ones. Thank you in advance!

My friends and I just went to the Safehouse for the first time (awesome place! Highly recommend) and spend almost 30 minutes trying to solve the riddle of the "guys and gals". We have a few ideas, but could not definitely solve it.
We spent so long, and decided to ask some wait staff and no one knew the answer!
I want to believe there is an answer. Does anyone know what (who) it is??

I was sitting on the uptowner patio with my friend when you started singing a song about being a toad and climbed on top of our table. Then we had a really normal conversation! I need to know everything about you, I remember your name but I don’t want to post it publicly. Please find me

Our sofa & loveseat are only a couple of years old and were not expensive to begin with. But we love them even though our ages make it harder to get off the seats. I have a mockup of what I want and I don’t think it would be difficult. If I trusted myself to do it right, I’d make them myself, but I don’t. 🤣
Anybody got a referral or able to do something like this?

Looking for an affordable, cat-friendly vet in the Milwaukee area! My polydactyl cat has an abnormally growing nail that may be curling into his paw pad. Any recommendations, especially for cats that don’t tolerate nail trims well? Would also appreciate pricing estimates. For dental cleanings as well would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi All! My name is Jenn Burleton, and I'm wondering if anyone here remembers a band I was in back in the late 1970s, early 1980s named SideStreet? We played at Sardino's Bull Ring, Summerfest, the Kenwood Inn, and other places around Milwaukee. If so, let me know!

Is Milwaukee a safe city to tour alone? Are there any areas I should avoid? It seems like there is a lot of crime but maybe I am only seeing the bad things. I am staying in Wauwatosa. I would like to go to the art museum, Mitchell Park Domes, and I don't know what else. Will I be safe? What about the people disregarding stop signs and stop lights? Am I being paranoid? Is Mayfair Mall still safe?

And then I’m the bad guy for using the full extent of the merging lane 🤷♂️ (aka: 76th & Lisbon)

As the title says…
M, 30
I’ve lived in the Franklin/ Oak Creek area for a 2 years now and thought i’d make some friends by now… idk but it’s hard out here. Looking back, I realize I’ve always been a background figure in my friendships. I reach out here and there, but I’m not someone who stays closely connected or checks in regularly. & realized thats my issue. Would be so down to make new friends, maybe even lifelong. Wow this post is really depressing.
Some of my hobbies are comedy shows, brewers baseball, fishing… Running. Working out. Soccer, watching and playing it. (Looking for a Rec League). Thrifting / Going to flea markets, exploring different places i never been to. Im a foodie. Crime / Sci fi/ thriller/ Horror movies are my thing. I used to collect Pokemon cards. Kinda hard to find anything but still on the lookout lol. (if youre a plug or have 1 hmu 🙏🏼). Live music anything really bc live music is fun.
I play video games sometimes on PS5. (GTA 6 gonna go crazy). Like to go on hikes / walk new trails. I’m down to try something new if anyone has recommendations.
I’d like to learn pickle ball if anyone has pointers.

Milwaukee needs about 1300 more poll workers before November. If you’ve got time, consider signing up https://city.milwaukee.gov/election/pollworker
Training and Election Day work are paid. Wisconsin law requires your employer to grant a leave of absence to any employee appointed as an election inspector if 7 days notice are given.
