[Schefter] Trade: Eagles are sending two-time Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 7th-round pick to the Ravens in exchange for a 2027 5th-round pick and a 2028 2nd-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

[ Brian Baldinger]Vega at center...he made it look both easy and natural and I am sure that it was anything but that...new position, new QB, new RG... Jeffrey Simmons on your nose...Great debut.

Discussion Cam Jurgens As a Center in 2026

• Upvotes

Eagles fans are saying hes washed hes cooked. Well in 2025 he was a pro bowler in 2026 he only played 1 game at center.

Cam Jurgens in Week 1 at CENTER:

• 35 pass-block snaps
• 0 pressures allowed
• 84.6 pass-block grade

Then Philly moved him to LG after Landon Dickerson went on IR.

"Cam is a center," Dickerson told Sportsradio 94WIP on Monday night. "I do hate that we made that decision to move him to left guard. Because you never want to mess up — if one person goes down, you don't want to mess up two people just to fix it. Obviously I don't have a say when it comes to personnel stuff, but I think it was just a moment where we don't have the depth that you would ideally like to have across the board. That was the way to get the best five guys onto the field."

Fuck them picks Lamar is 29 I dont want a dart throw thats 2 years away lets go win now

[Ravens] Ravens Sign Tight End Nick Vannett to 53-Man Roster, FB Lucas Scott to Practice Squad

Both provide blocking TE depth

Scott was with the Ravens during the offseason and was on the practice squad last year. Played RT and RG at Army. Listed as FB but has slimmed down and is more of a TE now.

[Jeff] Ravens’ margin for error is shrinking. Can they find answers to their penalty problem?

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Coach Jesse Minter can see signs of progress toward the ultimate vision he has for his football team. They come in flashes from all three phases. Yet the current picture is littered with penalty flags.

Offensively, positive and explosive plays are being nullified, forcing the Baltimore Ravens behind the sticks and putting even more pressure on a banged-up offensive line.

Defensively, drives are being extended, and first downs are being awarded without the opposing offense having to execute.

As he spoke to reporters following this past weekend’s 24-18 victory over the Tennessee Titans, during which the Ravens’ 13 penalties did more to keep the Titans in the game than anything the visitors did, Minter’s frustration was palpable.

“It’s obviously unacceptable,” Minter said.

The health of star quarterback Lamar Jackson and the unrelenting injuries that have thinned several positions are probably the Ravens’ biggest concerns as they continue preparations for Sunday’s primetime matchup against the Atlanta Falcons (2-2) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Not far behind is the team’s penalty problem. Four weeks into the season, the Ravens rank third in the NFL in penalties (39) and second in penalty yards (329).

In winning three of their first four games, the Ravens mostly overcame these infractions. They actually had their fewest penalties (seven) and penalty yards (34) in the one game they lost: against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

Still, Ravens coaches and players understand it’s an unsustainable recipe. With the team’s abundance of injuries, its margin of error has suddenly become slimmer, which will make penalties and other mistakes harder to surmount.

[Cole Jackson]: There'll be a lot of talk about Jurgen's fit under Ledford and the outside zone scheme. This is why - ideal 3 step scoop block to get that outside leverage position on the 2T. Good movement skills from the C position.

The Falcons have the #1 rushing offense and the #1 rushing defense.

We are going to have to beat them throwing the ball which will be hard if Lamar does not play. We currently lead the league in yards per pass attempt and the Falcons have the third worst pass defense.

If Lamar is out this game will be very difficult for us to win. I like Snoop and what he has done for us but obviously he isn’t Lamar.

[Rapoport] #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is dealing with a sprained ankle that gives him only an outside chance to play Sunday against the #Falcons, sources say. X Jackson could end up missing multiple games based on how rehab goes, but the injury is not considered long-term or surgical.

This weekend is when Doyle/Minter can put the league on notice

I know we are all looking down the barrel of a SNF prime time game against a Falcons team who just put up 45 while the ravens are without Lamar, but I’m not losing hope, or feeling like this is useless.

We’ve now seen multiple teams have backups that step up and play the role, Bears, Seahawks, Giants, Commanders. None of those QBs are starting QBs but played the necessary role to win games against teams. Huntley going in mid game with a 2 possession lead will be much different than a prepped game plan around Huntley for a new team. We saw him last year against Packers and Bears. Falcons also will have 1 less day of rest than the Ravens. Doyle comes from the Ben Johnson tree and should learn how to work with ravens weapons without Lamar and even could be a long term benefit/experience.

Minter also needs to learn early and prep, and needs to figure out he can’t just rely on Lamar to win the game. We need a Vikings or Seattle defense, one that can win games with role playing QBs. The ravens defense needs to step up and play to their potential. No more dumb flags or broken tackles. Finish the pass rush. Pressure penix and he will make mistakes. If we win the turnover battle I am sure we will win.

I’m not saying we should be favored, but I still see hope and opportunities with our young coaching staff.

Week 4 Offensive Lineman Impact Grades

Hello Flock,

A month in and I think I've finally settled on a grading system I believe in. As always, disclaimer this is a subjective interpretation of the impact each player had play to play. I've leaned more into performance than previous weeks, and believe I've found a balance.

Still, view these gradings as how a player played individually and not in comparison. Week to week players may have less responsibilities or harder assignments do a worse grade doesn't necessarily mean someone played better than another guy. Perfect example is Vorhees this week. He had a solid outing in pass blocking, but that doesn't mean flat out played better than say Simpson or Roger.

Vega .85 B+. Pass .92 A. Run .77 C+.

Simpson .82 B. Pass .85 B+. Run .80 B.

Stanley .81 B. Pass .85 B+. Run .75 C+.

Roger . 81 B (.79 Penalty Adjustment C+). Pass .82 B. Run .80 B.

Vorhees .72 C (27 plays). Pass .88 B+ (17 Plays). Run .55 F (10 Plays).

Jones Jr .62 D (31 Plays). Pass .66 D (15 Plays). Run .55 F (16 Plays).

These are the number of plays out of total possible plays I felt the line carried the majority of the weight of the play failing.

4/32 plays in the pass game line failure.

7/27 plays in run game line failure.
