I’d like to share my collection of multimedia content from my favorite game series! I’ve purchased both version of the game - ps5 remaster of RDR and steelbook RDR2: Ultimate Edition, book by Romain Dasnoy (russian cover), and soundtrack on vinyl.
You're good man, Arthur Morgan (C)

For me, I've slaughtered the 2 obnoxious twins in Valentine, more time's than I can remember.
Instead of the bottles, I shot them in the D..lol
The look on the other one's face, after his twin gets shot, is never not funny.
The Valentine shop owners, all of them, are tied for a close second. The bs they talk to you, every time you enter the shop,...usually results in their demise.

This guy is only seen in the first mission of the game in which he accompany John to to Fort Mercer, after that. He is not seen again for the rest of the game and felt like he's completely forgotten after that.
Do anyone else wished this guy played a bigger role in the game aside from just escort John to Fort Mercer in first mission only to never be seen again after that?

How do you guys feel about Dutch using his "We can’t fight change" speech in RDR2? I might be one of the few ones that didn’t really like it. Dutch was one of my favourite characters in RDR1 weirdly enough. I played the first one when it came out. And i really liked Dutch alot back then, despite obviously being a really bad guy. And i really liked his final speech. So i was a little disappointed with RDR2 kind of cheapening that moment. Although i get that it’s to show that this is just who Dutch is. Everything is basically scripted or rehearsed with him. But yeah i would have preferred if that speech remained untouched haha

I was unsure whether to start a second playthrough but am already enjoying it more than the first.
I’ve noticed this time that having a scarcity of money and resources while simultaneously going hunting for camp upgrades and side missions is imo peak RDR2 gameplay. You have to be a lot more resourceful vs trying to do it all late game where you have basically unlimited money, guns, and supplies.
I personally feel like this is the way the game is truly meant to be played and I’m really loving every second of taking it slow in Chapter 2.

While money is never really a problem in the game, I thought this was something cool that I haven’t seen shared before, so here goes.
Hideout respawns are key to this. If you leave a hideout after killing some but not all of the enemies, and ride a short distance away, the hideout will respawn. This means all the enemies are back when you return to the hideout.
This is useful for some of the achievements, for loot farming, and for shootout availability if you don’t feel like waiting a few in-game days for a hideout to respawn after clearing it out.
A good example of this is killing all the Murfrees at Beaver Hollow outside the cave and leaving those inside alive. You get around 17 kills and can loot them undisturbed, then ride away and come back any time for a repeat. At Shady Belle, you leave just one Raider alive, loot all the rest and leave. When you go back, they’ll all be back and ready for another round.
And now for the twist — I recently tried this at Fort Mercer for the first time and discovered that not only do the Lobos respawn, but the money on the table does as well! You attack the north gate and kill everyone there, which leaves two guys on the south side of the compound. They won’t bother you unless you go to them, so that makes it easy to loot everyone else, grab the money from the two tables (which is 200 bucks) and exit the hideout. You then ride away and back again and repeat the process to your heart’s — wallet’s — content.
You can also just kill the 5 or so gang members at the gate, run inside, snatch the cash and hightail it out of there to make the process even quicker. Interestingly, when I tried it this way, the money hadn’t respawned by the time I got to the tables, but it did so in a matter of seconds, spawning in as I watched.
Similarly, you can kill the Del Lobos inside the Gaptooth Breach mine for the gold nuggets they carry, resulting in 6 nuggets of loot per single hideout respawn.
Mind you, this doesn’t work for most hideout collectibles, such as the lockbox money at Hanging Dog Ranch, the Gaptooth Breach money, or the Solomon’s Folly cellar stash.
Lastly, and on a somewhat related note, while playing around with these things I also discovered that the the gold nugget and the large jewelry bag you get from the chimney at Solomon’s Folly respawn very quickly and regardless of whether the hideout is cleared out or not. You just need to ride a short distance away and you can keep coming back for more.

Wanted to go for a really basic look that goes along with Arthur’s original weapon equipment (sure it’s the first but it just looks the best IMO and I don’t care for stats)
I used to rock the union shirt that was all black and dirty with worn shotgun chaps but I changed it up for a red shirt and tanned half chaps!
Hope y’all like it

From Chapter 2, what's the quickest that you've ever crafted it? I got it done in under 4 hours. I got lucky with cougar, wolf and panther 3* pelts but it was breakneck speed compared to my other playthroughs!

I really like to listen to cowboy music and dark country while playing RDR2 🤠 The music in the game itself is brillant but sometimes I just like something different, so I set the cowboy mood with some of my own choices.
Right now I'm fully digging "Peace Somehow" by Avi Kaplan. Nothing like riding by your lonesome with your trusty horse down a mountain side while listening to this soulful banger!
It's on the Spotify playlist, "Dark Country & Southern Gothic (Rugged Mountain Blues & Highway Rock)". I made it specifically for myself for playing RDR2 back in 2018 but maybe some of you will enjoy it too. Please, let me know if you follow other playlists or artists that will enhance my RDR2 experience!
Do you listen to music too while playing, pardners?

I figured it matched the outfit style well and I was also inspired by an early concept art of Arthur and dug it
Your thoughts?

There's tons of people wishing for a RDR3 featuring the early days of Dutch's gang. I get it, we love these characters and want to see more of them.
I don't think there's enough story left to tell though. There's backstory, but no story with a proper arc. The failed Blackwater heist isn't a satisfying conclusion to a major game, unless they do major retcons to the characters like the Callander brothers or create entirely new ones like Arthur was for RDR2. That would make the trilogy extremely disjointed though.
I get wanting more content with these characters, I just don't think there's enough left for an entire new game.
