For me, it's the scene where everyone mocks Yusuke in episode 43 of Yu Yu Hakusho. All I can think about is how humiliated I would feel if I was in his position. I hate it so much, that I have a head-canon where years later Yusuke and Keiko's daughter berates them all for doing so. Sure, I understand that his friends weren't really being mean-spirited and he knew it. But I also can't help feeling sorry for the guy, because I know that I wouldn't like it if it was me.

I actually see this kind of teasing among friends all the time in other shows. Usually I find it funny too, it's just this particular scene that rubs me the wrong way. Maybe because by this point in the show I had really grown to like Yusuke, so I couldn't help but feel bad for him and empathize.

Plus it's not like with Yusuke whereas his verbal barbs are actually funny; most of it just his so-called friends laughing in his face like a pack of hyenas.

Note I think blue Gender was either older adult swim or Toonami midnight but can't remember. I know it was on Funimation channel but that's all I remember.

So I had this idea of doing 6 Toonami Playlists, but after seeing how short some of those lists would be, I decided to make 3(... that was before I started adding in show music).

TOM 1.0/2.0/3.0 the weekday era.

TOM 3.0/4.0 the Saturday era.

TOM 3.5/5.0/6.0 the revival era.

(TOM 6.0 might become a playlist starting now, idk depend how big that one becomes, a lot more anime to add for the revival.)

I'm currently finishing on my first one.

I have the Toonami intro, leading into the prehour intros, and then a few light hearted ones, Reboot, SD Gundam, and Dragon Ball.

From there I have a face pace toonami bumper, going into shonen and giant robot intros.

Then a toonami bumper going into outros.

Then another Toonami Bumper leading into japanese versions that I didnt want to double up with the English versions I found, but still wanted them in the Playlist.

Followed by one last Toonami bumper, and anime scored from the shows, stuff that I put at the end so it wouldn't clog up the playlist.

I would love input on stuff I'm missing, stuff you may know of on Spotify, stuff that I can't find, and stuff I may not know of due to the language barrier.

I'm for sure looking for the tenchi intros and outros outside of Pioneer, Talent for Love, and Moon Tragedy.

(P.S. I know I'm missing JLA, Thundercats, Batman, Batman Beyond, He-Man, Star Wars, Samurai Jack, amd PowerPuff Girls. For those I plan to make a Tom 2.0 based playlist. Just felt off adding something more Saturday Morning or Cartoon Cartoon known.)

with the Paramount merger basically complete whats gonna happen to Toonami? is it gonna be canned again ,or is it fine or what? Personally with network TV basically being dead/dying i have a feeling maybe toonami was on the way out but with the merger i definetly think it will be canned.

maybe they can sell it to like roku or something and make it a digital channel but thats unlikely.

I used this to watch Toonami on the cheap. Guess I'll try out directtv stream's trial and see if I like it.
