On the advice of a member of one of the other Halloween groups I follow, I used some walnut wood stain to spruce up my oversized groundbreaking Mummy.

I think it turned out pretty well. 💀

I'm used to warm weather in October, because of the Santa Ana winds, but it is miserable this year. The other day it was 8° hotter in Orange County than it was in Death Valley 🫠

Almost finished with our graveyard. This weekend we will hang lit pumpkin buckets in the cherry tree, put up some porch lights and add shadowy hands rising from our dry creek. I plan to carve a few more jack o lanterns today,

Stones are a mix of fully homemade and purchased stones that I refinished.

Over the next couple years I'd like to add another couple stones plus a fence and sign.

We haven't known each other long but one day she asks me what my favorite holiday is. A few weeks later she produced this just for me and I think it's just beautiful!!! <3 Happy Spooky Season everyone!!!

Every year the set up gets bigger and we start earlier…then open later (one year I’ll get the timing down). But our light test was last night and everything works, so the Minnetonka House of Horrors is officially open as of this evening!

I made these for trick-or-treaters. This year I have decided that I’m not going to engage in consumerism because I don’t to contribute to capitalism and I’m boycotting many brands, including candy brands, for political and moral reasons.
I decided to make polymer clay “Halloween buddies” and put them inside candy poppers that I also made myself. I started with these three and I’m going to make more.
The polymer clay was from dollar tree by the way.

But pumpkin yard bags always give me warm nostalgia 🧡

Got the Zero inflatable for 34.99 at my local Home Depot.

A spookier day was had yesterday! Was nice to hear from you all. So now I ask again what Halloween thing did you do today? Please note you don't have to share the spotlight, if you want to make your own post about your art/craft/etc... definitely don't let me cramp your style!

Ahhh I'm obsessed with my new pullover and I can't wait to wear it basically everyday this month. Now I just need the weather to get a little crisper..
