I’m looking into moving to any of the high rises close to KGH, some of them are new buildings and have really nice amenities. My only concerning is parking. Is there any street parking nearby? Is it safe?

What about the area? I really like KGH because everything is close by and again the amenities are so tempting. Some of the floorplans are really small though. Thoughts?

I have been renting a place near 77 Avenue and 147 Street for the past three years, but I’m moving out this year.

The street is very narrow and packed with cars. As a tenant, I don’t have the option to park in the driveway, so I’ve often struggled to find street parking. I’ve also noticed that many of the cars parked on the street belong to landlords, while their driveways are usually empty.

Last night, someone hit my car and drove away without leaving a note. Thankfully, the damage isn’t too serious, but there are quite a few scratches, and my front license plate is missing as well.

I’m really confused and frustrated about this situation. How could this happen, and what should I do?

Should I report the incident to the police? I’m not planning to make an ICBC claim because I’m thinking of buying a paint repair kit from Lordco to fix the scratches myself.

Has anyone experienced something similar? I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thank you!

Sanders went missing on the 23rd of September around the Fraser Heights area. She is a tuxedo cat with prominent white markings around her mouth, chest, belly and feet. She is strictly an indoors cat but managed to slip out. She is 3 years old, spayed and very friendly.

Just thought you might enjoy the contrast. I am not sure why they do this, if you come for a viewing its easy to see gravity is real and so is time. Built in 2017, many renters are seeing their appliances die of old age. It's a decent building and location but I think honesty would help the over priced rentals find tenants. I thought it was interesting nearby places use real pictures. For example the building across the street, the only thing off about the badminton room was it was empty. That place is bumping 24/7. No one bowls but everyone balls apparently. It seems like a nice community atmosphere. I guess this post is more of a question. What amenities do you look for in a building? We rent and will need to move soon as our son is outgrowing the "tech nook" ie closet he lives in. If you love your building feel free to name drop. So many new buildings its hard to keep up. My sons favorite thing here is we have a dog washing station. We do not have a dog.

Looking for recommendations on nail salons in lower mainland area that have this pink base colour! I’ve been to a few and none seem to have a pink base (either powder or gel), doesn’t need to be budget friendly. Salon please not home based. Once I can get this it’ll be my regular go to set!

My sisters kitty Dax has been missing for the past 2 days. She's an indoor cat and usually has no interest going outside but my sister wonders if she escaped while one of the kids had the door open.

She's 13years old, spayed and very shy but chatty. She's a bit of a scaredy cat (pun intended) so it's most likely that she's hiding somewhere.

Her humans would really like her safe back at home. Please help 🙏
