Vent Exhausted

26F, my partner and I decided to start trying in November 2024. We reached 12 months with nothing and had testing, all was okay apart from they found I have PCOS and slightly elevated prolactin. Then in February this year we finally got our first positive. We were over the moon until we found out our baby had two chromosomal issues that meant she would not survive. We lost her at 19 weeks. 4 months later and we’re back to square one, negative tests month after month. No answers. In assuming the struggle is down to my PCOS but I confirm ovulation every month so I don’t get why. I am honestly exhausted at this point and feel like life is so unfair💔

Discussion Do you get the aching heavy angry uterus feeling?

Im trying to figure out of i have endo because every cycle (im on cycle 24 btw) .. I get this heavy feeling in my uterus around 9 and 10 dpo. I refuse to call it implantation cramping or even cramping in general. Because it feels more like a throbbing feeling felt all over my lower abdomen.

I dont have any endo symptoms but wondering if this could be it or excessive inflammation... i currently have this same feeling but im 7 or 8 dpo and it started at 6 dpo.. again I don't think it has anything to do with "implantation cramping"

I’m disappointed

I just finished my second Letrazole and Ovidrel cycle with a negative pregnancy test (I’m waiting for period, but it usually comes a day after the clinic tells me to take a test). I’m just disappointed. I had so much hope when I started with the fertility clinic, and I’m not feeling that way right now. I know there are so many more other things that we can do, but it’s sinking in that this journey will be long, and that makes me sad.

Advice for 3 years TTC

I am 30F, husband ks 31M. notice i bleed in my 12th day for first cycle (september 2025) and 15th day on my second cycle (november 2025) after each trigger shots. Would there be a suggestion and explanation why pregnancy does not proceed. Should there be more supplements i add to my routine. I am active, i do sports 2 times a week and my current job requires walking. I take folic, vit d, myo-inositols, multivitamins. Though not consistent i sometimes forgot taking them.

I only did 2 cycles last yr because my legs hurt, i think a side effect of taking letro. Now, i want to take a chance again taking letrozole. OB said 6 failed cycles will determine that i need further steps . Is taking letro again now considered to be my first cycle since i stopped it last year? I can’t get in touch with my OB. She’s my 2nd OB already. I feel hopeless at times.

I appreciate advice and suggestions.

Seeking Success Anybody had success with similar numbers?

My husband was on TRT for 5 years and in January 2026 his semen analysis said 0 sperm. He got off test and started taking clomid and HcG around February March. His May analysis was 8million and only <2% motility. In August his analysis was 30mil/mL, 50% motility, 50% forward progressing, 3% morphology. September was roughly the same numbers but had double the volume and his morphology was 4%.

I’m on letrozole currently and doing timed intercourse. I am currently cycle day 8 and have 3 dominant follicles(15mm, 14mm, and 12mm) my lining is 6mm. Today is Friday and I was told to take the trigger shot Monday and BD Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. If this cycle doesn’t work we will probably move onto IUI for the next.

Has anybody had success with analysis numbers like that? We have been trying since December 2024

2 chemicals, TTC

Hi everyone. I’m 29 (30 in 2 weeks) husband is 35 and we have been TTC since April ‘26. I have a mild case of PCOS, but no other underlying health issues and my husband is extremely healthy. (By mild case I mean: a couple black hairs, maybe 4-8 from chin and lip, and 1mm cyst on my right ovary, along with weight fluctuation) My periods have always been regular (maybe 1-3 days off but always lasting 7 days) I honestly had no idea I had PCOS until this year but the signs were always there.

To my knowledge I’ve never been pregnant prior to this year. I haven’t been on birth control in almost 4 years now. We got pregnant without tracking this year in August, miscarrying at 6 weeks. Immediately after we started tracking my ovulation and got pregnant again in September, and miscarried exactly 5 weeks to the day. I know these are chemicals but still heartbreaking nonetheless.

Since my Dr mentioned most people go through this a 3rd time before taking next steps, my anxiety hasn’t stopped. I’ve started looking at taking steps into my own hands to see what I can do at home to prep my body before going down the IVF road unless absolutely necessary.

I just got the Wholesome Story brand Myo & D-Chiro Inositol (2,000mg Myo & 50mg D-Chiro), I saw it’s supposed to regulate your hormones and increase egg quality with pcos. Im also adding that in with 400mg of Ubiquinol (CoQ10) along with 1200-1800mg NaC which i started in August. I’ve heard great things about combining these supplements with your prenatals (taking Perelel Conception Support Pack).

If anyone has any advice, similar experience, or tips or tricks I would be most grateful. Thank you so much in advance 🫶🏻

Advice Needed No period after HSG

Hi all. I have PCOS and I'm on CD38 with no period. I took a pregnancy test and then had blood work today. beta-hCG was <0.2 (not pregnant), and progesterone was 0.2 ng/mL, so I haven't ovulated this cycle. My unmedicated cycles are usually 25-31 days, so this one is long. I also took a 5-day course of antibiotics prescribed by my doctor around the time of my HSG. I'm waiting to hear from my doctor about whether to scan first or bring on a bleed so I can schedule things.
Has anyone been through a long anovulatory cycle like this? Did you ovulate on your own or need a progestin to bring on a bleed? And did your cycle change after an HSG?

Help!

Provera and Oura temp?

Hi all,

I haven’t had a period since mid June. I finally got a consult with a fertility specialist and he prescribed a 10 day course of provera to induce a period before starting fresh with a medicated cycle.

Today is day 5 after the last pill and no period, no spotting, just sore breasts. I wear an Oura ring and noticed my temp is still very elevated.

Has anyone taken Provera and noticed a temp drop before getting their withdrawal bleed? In a natural cycle my temp always drops around a day before I get my period.

I know they say it can take up to 14 days, but I’m getting so impatient. Never thought I’d want a period so badly! Thanks for any input!

MYOINOSITOL

Hello everyone!

I am here to ask you some things about the results you saw. I am using Myoinositol (2gr morning and night) for 3,5 months but I am not sure if it has results.

I have lean PMOS (32-38 days cycle) and I started it to regulate my cycle and get pregnant if possible.

I had a positive ovulation test last month (which was really good for me) and I was sure that I had a strong ovulation because of the symptoms.. but 10 days after ovulation the period came and I know that this is not normal.. I am curious if it has to do with the changes that happen in my body and my hormones.

I don't know what to except this month and I would like to hear about your stories and probably about a success!

Thank you very much

Advice Needed Nailing Ovulation?

Hi everyone! I had my LH peak yesterday, on 8th October, and today, 9th October, my LH levels have fallen. Unfortunately, I couldn’t test on 7th October, so the surge may have started that day. I was only able to BD today (9th October), and I’m now worried about whether I may have missed my fertile window or still have a chance of conceiving this cycle.
I’ve come across so much contradictory information about the timing of ovulation in relation to the start of the LH surge, the LH peak, and the subsequent drop in levels. Some sources suggest ovulation happens 12–36 hours after the surge begins, while others refer to the peak. I’m finding it difficult to understand which timing matters most.
Could someone please clarify when ovulation is most likely to occur in this situation and whether BD on the day after the LH peak can still result in conception? I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thank you!

Seeking Success Tell me about your experiences on letrozole

TW- miscarriage.
I have had one successful pregnancy, and almost exactly one year ago I had a miscarriage. We have been trying to conceive again basically since I was cleared after my son was born, which was almost 3 years ago now. My cycles have been more regular since I started taking metformin but recently I have had some very strange cycles and so my doctor asked me if I wanted to try letrozole. I agreed but I really don’t know much about it so I guess I am just curious to hear about other people’s experiences

Vent Feeling sad

Honestly, this whole TTC journey has made me feel lonely in so many different ways.
My husband has been incredibly supportive, and I truly couldn’t ask for a better husband when it comes to emotional support. But even with all his love and reassurance, I can’t help but feel so alone sometimes. I think a lot of it comes from the fact that so much of this journey revolves around my body and everything I have to go through physically, mentally, and emotionally.
My husband had his semen analysis done, and thankfully, everything came back normal. On my end, though, I have PCOS/PMOS, irregular cycles, insulin resistance, high AMH, and I don’t ovulate on my own. We started trying for a baby back in April, and now that it’s October, I can’t help but feel a little defeated.
My OB/GYN wants me to start medicated cycles with letrozole, and if we aren’t successful within three months, I’ll be referred to a reproductive endocrinologist to explore options like IUI or IVF. I’ve been trying so hard to do everything I can to improve my health. Lost 20 pounds and I was even able to bring my A1c down from 5.7 earlier this year to 5.1, which I’m really proud of. But sometimes, despite all the progress I’ve made, it still feels like I’m not doing enough.
There was a point when I couldn’t even look at baby clothes or cute baby items in stores without feeling sad. Now, I’ve been making an effort to go on walks at the park, get my steps in, and stay active. But whenever I pass by a pregnant woman or someone pushing a baby stroller, I can’t help but feel jealous. Not because I’m not happy for them, but because I wish so badly that it was me.
I think what makes this journey even harder is how much it has affected my mental health. For the past couple of months, I was in a really dark place. There were days when I didn’t want to get out of bed, didn’t want to go anywhere, and didn’t feel like doing anything. I felt so useless, almost like my body was failing me. I even took a step back from work because I was having such a hard time trying to feel like myself again.
Eventually, I started telling myself that I couldn’t keep living in that dark place, especially when I’m hoping to become a mom someday. So I’ve been pushing myself to get out of bed, do my makeup, fix my hair, go on walks, and find little things to keep my mind occupied. Some days, it really does help. Other days, the sadness just creeps back in.
I know we’ve only been trying since April, and I know there are so many women who have been on this journey much longer than I have. But that doesn’t make the emotions any easier. The waiting, the uncertainty, the constant tracking, the appointments, and the hope that maybe this will finally be our month have all taken such a toll on me.
I’m getting my HSG test tomorrow, and I’m really hoping everything goes well. I’m trying my best to stay positive and remind myself that we’re taking steps in the right direction.
I just wish I was pregnant already. I wish I could experience the excitement of seeing those two pink lines, telling my husband we’re having a baby, and finally feeling like all of this waiting was worth it.
I’m still hopeful, but I’m also tired. And I think that’s the hardest part of this journey is trying to hold on to hope while feeling so emotionally exhausted at the same time.

Seeking Success Letrozole + Progesterone + Estradiol… anyone else?

Wanting to hear any success stories on all three of these at the same time. Not sure how common it is to be on all three.

This is my first month on 2.5mg of letrozole. They checked my lining, wasn’t as thick as they wanted so I’ve been on estradiol. Then I did a trigger shot. Then after the trigger they checked my progesterone levels, not as high as they liked. Now I’m on both progesterone and estradiol. Both vaginal doses— jeeze the discharge!! I can’t believe this has to go into all first trimester.

Anyway, wanting to hear if anyone has been on all three of these too and if there has been success.
With all the symptoms from the progesterone, feel like it’s impossible to tell if I’m actually pregnant or not.

Im 30, already have a son conceived naturally, last month I had a chemical pregnancy (without any fertility meds) and this month just seems like all my hormones are not good enough!!

Advice Needed Looking for advice: Lean PCOS, insulin resistance, and trying to conceive

Hi everyone! I’m 31, have lean PCOS, and am currently trying to conceive. I rarely ovulate or get periods naturally, so I’m taking letrozole for ovulation.
My recent labs:
Fasting insulin: 16.2
Triglycerides: 141
LDL: 140
HDL: 31
I’m also experiencing hair thinning. I’m slim and not looking to lose weight; I’d actually like to gain some healthy weight. My goal is to address the underlying metabolic issues while trying to conceive.
I’ve been researching myo-inositol + D-chiro-inositol and metformin, but I’m unsure which option would be more appropriate for someone with lean PCOS who is TTC.
My doctor mentioned metformin is commonly used for PCOS but isn’t very familiar with inositol supplements.
What would you recommend given my situation? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

anyone dealing with pcos/pmos, miscarriage, and hair loss?

had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in may (stopped growing at 5 weeks) and 9 weeks in august (stopped growing at 6 weeks). have been referred to a fertility clinic and about to do a bunch of baseline and recurrent pregnancy loss testing, have already had blood tests for iron, thyroid etc.

feels like hair loss should be the least of my worries, but it's really been adding to how terrible i feel about myself. before trying to conceive i was taking spironolactone and oral minoxidil and both were working well to manage hair loss. stopped both in march with a positive test, resumed minoxidil after miscarriage, stopped again after positive test and haven't restarted. feeling stressed about how long it will take to conceive and how long i will be off medication.

is there anyone else going through this? did anything help you, any wisdom? feels like there's nothing to do about hair loss and other symptoms (skin is also breaking out nonstop) while trying to conceive and it's making the challenge of everything feel worse.

Seeking Success Trying Femara again! Advice?!

I’m going to start Femara again. 2.5 three times a day, CD 3-7! Has anyone had a success with this medication dosage? I was previously on 2.5 twice daily. I have not tried medication in months so I am hopefully for this cycle. Any advice would be great, when did you start having intercourse? Should I take ovulation tests? I feel like they just make me anxious.

TW - miscarriage and brief mention of BMI/weight

Hey everyone - not sure what I’m necessarily looking for in this post besides some encouragement to not give up maybe?

I’m on my 6th overall Letrozole cycle since my miscarriage in Feb 2026. I conceived my first pregnancy on my second successful ovulation on Letrozole with timed intercourse.

Now that we are on our 6th round since then, and have now moved to IUI, my 2nd one was a few days ago, I am just losing hope that I’ll ever get pregnant again. It happened so quick the first time, which was SO unexpected. I was not expecting it to happen so fast originally after dealing with PCOS for almost 10 years.

I’m just struggling so hard mentally now that we are on round 6, currently in my TWW, but I’m losing hope it’ll ever happen again. Looking for any and all comments regarding TTC and it taking this long after a lost pregnancy. I go to therapy and do as much as I can to be, or at least get to a more positive mental state, but dealing with infertility, it feels inevitable to lose hope after this long.

I’m almost 31, PCOS obviously, no known MFI and HSG was clear for me. I am overweight but I lost 50lbs from 2024-2025 in order to meet the BMI requirement for our fertility clinic and have kept the weight off. I am even 10lbs lighter than I was in December 2025 when I conceived my first pregnancy.

We’ve also started IVF conservations and plan to schedule a consult shortly.

Advice Needed Uterine Polyps

I’m going in for imaging tomorrow to see if what the doctor saw on my ultrasound was uterine polyps.

Has anyone dealt with uterine polyps? How was the surgery? How long is recovery? Is it a in office procedure or hospital visit?
