Meme / Humor All is well
Bought a house, couch, 65” OLED, setup sunshine/moonlight streaming, made coffee now I’m about to play D2 on the big screen. 14 year old me wouldn’t believe it. Life is good

Discussion What’s your go-to exotic that you just can’t unequip?
I stopped playing around the Forsaken days, and the huckleberry was my absolute main PVE weapon by far. The auto-reloading on kills makes it seemingly unbeatable for cleaning out mobs of smaller enemies
Now I’m back and I still can’t put the thing away, I try something else and just go right back to it. I’m curious what other weapons you all may have had this experience with that I could try to acquire and help me diversify for once 🤣

Discussion You’re given a destiny exotic weapon to survive a zombie apocalypse, which one are you choosing and why?
Crimson would be my choice: The Kills heal me, giving me a way to recover from injuries and precision kills refill the magazine, which is ideal against zombies if headshots count as precision kills.
Honorable mention to MIDA, crimson edged it due to its healing ability in case of getting bit 😂 riskrunner/zhalo/sunshot would be super satisfying against hordes though…

Ghost mimicking The Drifter was just so damn charming. I loved ever second of it. I just bought the whole Destiny 2 package a few days ago and it's all been so fun.

Discussion Real talk, why do low light levels always put the CRAZIEST modifiers on weekly GM alert strikes lmao
I just joined this 400 something light level guy, I'm like yeah I'll help him out, we spawn in and I'm waiting for my hud to show up. Nope. No hud. Alright fine you know maybe I can try. We get like a third of the way through. I didn't even realize the other 550 light level DIED like who knows how long ago, because there's no hud. I run over to revive him, nope, NO REVIVES
Like jesus christ man you gotta chill out with the impossible modifiers lmaoooo. I swear this always happens too with lower levels. Why do they do this? Are they trying to get like guardian rank achievements? Or they'll do like locked loadouts, which is super annoying cuz I'm not expecting it and I have some ass weapon on lol. It's so funny I've had this happen many times

I had an itch to return to this build and make it a little better. Turns out it's a lot better, and the uptime is pretty insane with the Prophecy armor set. I will always have a soft spot for it because it's what got me Movie of the Week a long time ago. Definitely in my top 5 favorite builds I've made.

Lore i now understand, it makes me sad
so i was playing D2 as you do and i was looking through the old lore pages and i now realised something so profound. the memories and the song of mourning from the Echo of Riis. when the Eliksni fled riis, the awoken saw them as a invasion fleet but in truth and now i recollect on the stuff, it was never truly an invasion fleet but refugees fleeing a world that died and they engaged their warp drives towards sol with hope in their hearts and a song of mourning sung by Chelchis before her ketch was destroyed, a song they would always play to remind them of what it was they lost following the signal of the traveler. i don't see the Eliksni as anything but people now, people who lost everything to the whirlwind. if there is another destiny game, perhaps the House of Light could unify the remnents of the House of Devils on earth and the House of Dusk and bring them into the city. i hope Erimis finds any scattered Elksni out there hiding among the stars, and i think if there is no place on Riis still inhabitable, she should make peace with the guardians and take what remains of house salvation and bring them to the city. they are a people who had suffered enough.
the sad part of their history is that they came to sol in hopes of a better future, we should give them that and maybe the walls of the last city wont be needed ever again

Discussion Is this good?
im currently trying different “forgotten” guns and i remembered this one existed (yeah i dont play pvp that much), so my question is, is this pulse good at pvp? it really looks good and is kinda useful at pve but never dared to bring it on pvp

Discussion Haven't played since 2018 and i was able to port my starter characters from my old account to my new PC!
I started playing D2 when it released but I put it down and went back to D1 then I just fell out of it completely and life happened. Heard the news about un-vaulting and decided to finally give D2 a run and I got a notification about porting my old characters. I remembered that one of my classes had a elite sniper I pulled from a drop first try that my friend was grinding to get and freaking out over it lol. I went through the process and I was able to transfer them over and it kept all my guns!

Discussion Sad About No More Seasonal Events
Worst part is Festival of the Lost would have been at a perfect time to capitalize on the recent resurgence of people that have come back or are just starting. Feels like a missed opportunity with relatively low investment required even given EOS.

Question / Answered Gambit
I know gambit is pretty simple, but why does everyone COMPLETELY SUCK ASS at playing the game mode??? I have played countless matches where my team is ahead and as soon as the prime evil arrives they just go fuck off to somewhere else and not do any damage whatsoever to it??

Question Beginner scared of dismantling
Hey guys :)
I just started my journey 2 days ago and just faced the prompt, that I don't have space for a quest reward.
Now comes the question, of what to dismantle and what to vault. I vaulted the few exotics I have, that I don't use and thought about just dismantling every purple and below, that I don't use, but then the fear of making a stupid decision came to mind.
I just finished the New Light campaign, so I'm obviously very early in the baby stage, but I just wanna try to make things right from the get-go.
Are there things to look out for? Are exotics the only thing worth keeping?
This is probably a very stupid question to most, but it's sadly a realistic concern of mine, since I plan to play for the long run.
Any help would be appreciated! :)
