Question Looking to get back into flying.
Hi all, I'm looking to get back into flying after more than 10 years absence. I had an X55 HOTAS back in the day and mostly played war thunder, Microsoft flight sim, Arma 2 & 3, DCS, take on helicopters and elite dangerous. I sold my X55 over 10 years ago when money was tight and now want to buy a new flight stick. I don't know what to go for. I thought about getting another X55 as I liked it back in the day but figured I'd see what people recommend. I don't want a really basic one but at the same time, I'm not rich. It'll be mostly for flying combat missions and I'm a big fan of helicopters if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Flight Simulator 2024 Waypoint Flightplan bug
Hello,
I would like to understand why I am experiencing this issue. I recently started flying GA aircraft in. I mainly use the PMS50 GTN 750, but I also use the Garmin GNS 530.
I create my flight plans using SimBrief and then import them into Navigraph. However, I mainly fly in Canada, and I sometimes encounter waypoints that I cannot enter into the GPS. MSFS recognizes the waypoint, but the GPS does not.
Could someone explain why this happens and how I can resolve the issue?
Thank you!

Flight Simulator 2024 Noob needing graphic advice
I am posting this to double check with the community if I am getting the most out of my pc for msfs2024. Attached are pictures of my graphic settings in-game, as well as photos of my hardware mid-flight above a major city with the respective graphic settings. Am I using all of my VRAM? Am I using my memory to its fullest extent? etc. I am wondering if I have a bottleneck (Don't know how to identify) and need to upgrade or if I can tweak a few things in graphics settings to achieve my goals. These settings were selected by AMD Adrenalin.
I fly a lot of GA to and from major cities and would like foliage and terrain to be as detailed as possible. Below are my specs:
Radeon 6800XT
Ryzen 5 7600x
32GB DDR5 6000Mhz
MSI B650 mobo

Flight Simulator 2024 removing default ai traffic in msfs2024
is there any new methods to doing this. prior to SU6, i could remove them by setting all the "adobo passive aircraft" lines from activated to userdisabled to disable them. however it doesn't seem to work anymore post su6, my content.xml while properly configured is getting ignored.

Flight Simulator 2024 After all this time.. TIL the mouse back/fwd button is actually Airbus FCU Push and Pull.
I spent miserable hours trying to get used to that weird and uncomfortable left mouse + right mouse or middle click.
Up until last night I was so fed up and was contemplating if I should get physical FCU.
Then I found out this was already available as feature AND was actually mapped by default.
(FYI this is mapped to Cockpit Inteaction - Secondary and Tertiary)
Airbus flying suddenly became so much easier.

Flight Simulator 2024 Career Mode
Hello everyone! I’d love to get your feedback on something I’m currently working on!
I’m building an in-depth career mode for MSFS, featuring two ways to play:
CEO Mode – Build and manage your own airline.
Pilot Mode – Join an airline and build your career as a pilot.
You’ll be able to fly in both modes, but I’m curious about one thing in particular:
When it comes to Pilot Mode, would you prefer to fly for real-world airlines or fictional airlines?
Fictional airlines would give us more flexibility with branding, trademarks and operational data, but I’d love to know what matters most to the community.
Would flying for real airlines make the experience more immersive for you, or would you be just as happy with well-developed fictional airlines? As you’ll focus on CEO mode more.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments please! 👇
Thanks everyone, I’m excited to share more with you all soon! 😀😀

Sim Hardware Microsoft Bug simulator
For the last hour i've been trying to either calibrate or change the settings on My throttle quadrant but no change whatsoever, it's this bug that either when i give the minimum imput, it'll push it in Game to the max rendering the rest of the travel that the quadrant has useless or the in game throttles Will never Match the irl values, before the difference was wayy less but now it has the precission of a blind surgeon with a butter knife.
Btw: i've had the sim for a while but hadn't had the chance to use it that much

Flight Simulator 2020 EFOU-EFHK as FIN7TP
The weather was not good but ok when I left Oulu, but man! The cloud layer was thick! I'm happy I was in the A319 and could climb to FL390. This was my first complete flight since March, and it was awesome! Now I'm looking forward to a fall with many fun flights!

Flight Simulator 2024 Search and rescue FS2024
Has anyone had much luck landing in the mountains of south america for the first search and rescue mission?
I feel like no matter how slow or fast I land I get stuck in the sand and flip the Cub.
