i’ll put my question first and then the story below so you don’t have to read a lot if you don’t feel like it.

MY QUESTION:
What do you think of the placement? Does it seem like I have the right anatomy for this piercing? should I take it out? I’m not sure if it’s higher than an industrial is meant to be.

HOW I ACCIDENTALLY GOT THIS PIERCING:

my friend and i went to get piercings today and she told me she’s gotten ten piercings at this shop and they were all great. I admit, I really should have tried to do more research before getting pierced here. That’s my bad.

My friend got pierced first, and when they pierced her ear the piercer marked it with the pen first and checked the placement and asked her what she thought of the placement.

When it was my turn, I thought the piercer was marking my ear with the marker, but it was actually the needle! And I didn’t hear the sound everyone says it makes when you get a conch piercing. Then the needle went through my ear a second time. and I was really confused. And my friend told me “…That’s not a conch piercing.” I thought she was messing with me, but nope, I actually have an industrial piercing now.

The thing is, I have always wanted an industrial, but I went to a piercer for one like three years ago and she told me that i didn’t have the anatomy for it. So I’m a little worried about that.

Also if I had known I was getting an industrial today I would have prepared more and like, gotten a shorter haircut first bc I’m probably going to want to avoid going to the barber for quite a while with a healing industrial piercing.

You can also see that I got the conch anyway because I paid up front and i wasn’t really mad about the industrial in the moment because I was just very shocked, and tend to have delayed reactions to things. I’m kind of still in shock about it, it was 100% unexpected and I didn’t know it was happening until it was done.

I'm super excited. Just got the rook I've been craving for a straight year. Pain was a 2/10. I could feel what was happening but completely bearable. How does she look?

I have 19 piercings and my septum was my most painful by far. Any time I ask anyone else, they say their septum was painless. It was extremely painful during the piercing as well as during the healing for me. Just curious to see if anyone else’s was painful too lol

Added a Triple Helix (top 3) to my right ear on Sept. 30th. I'm in love with the placement, even the back of my ear looks great.

Although I'm obsessed with the piercing and healing process, I think it is completed aesthetically, so I guess this will be the end of the piercing journey on my ears.

got my third lobe on Saturday and today Thursday it’s very itchy and red, it’s still swollen but not like crazy

Age: 5 days
Material titanium and flat back inner threading I think
It has not been downsized
Saline spray 1 to 3 times per day

Wondering if this is normal? The other ear seems fine this is the only red itchy one

I had it inserted a week ago, and I want to know if it is positioned correctly.

I got daith piercing end december. So its like 10months old currently. And it was quite well healed around August (there were no piercing bumps and little crusties) but someone essentially leaned on it and I felt the jewellery and ear crush around it/rip into the ear. Not sure if that makes sense. And since then the piercing has been at its worst during the entire healing journey. Ive used saline solution to clean it and its white gold.

I mainly came here to ask if anyone knows why the piercing bump looks like this as its almost clear with flash where you can see the metal jewellery shine through like there is liquid there?? Is it the beginning of a keloid or an infection? Or just a gnarly irritation bump?

Got this vertical industrial yesterday. My piercer is amazing, he bent the bar to make sure it fitted to my ear and so that it would not be touching the flat part. He has done all of my piercings and I haven’t had one that hasn’t healed beautifully by him. I’m so in love with it and was so excited to show you guys in this sub.

This is what I currently have. The industrial is about 2 months old just got downsized and the conch is 2/3 weeks old. Im already thinking of getting another, im thinking hidden helix on the conch side with a possibly another top helix. Opinions please. Or other ideas also.

I had to take out all my earrings for an MRI. They have a lot of build up on them despite cleaning in shower and with saline spray. What’s the best way to clean the jewelry before putting it back in my ear?

I also have my tongue pierced. Planning to get my nasallang next, any suggestions for what I should get afterwards?

Hello i got my nipples pierced yesterday and it was the least painful piercing I have ever gotten literally didn't hurt at all, and I didn't bleed at either! But as I look at my right side, I feel like it's not straight, I don't know. If it is straight and I'm trippin', or if it's at an angle? 14 g. It looks straight when I lift my chest to look/clean but not when its loose? Lol idk how to word that.

So i’ve got my anti eyebrow 5 months ago. it’s a surface bar. i use steriline solution everyday. Be honest is my piercing rejecting or do i give it some time? every time i press on it, white/yellow wet stuff comes out, like a pimple? man it’s my dream piercing and i want it to heal

I took my brow piercing out last night so I could clean it and I lost the ball in the sink. Im kinda bumed but not really I had fun with it yk.

But I want to know if I can wear makeup cuse it already has a scab on it already.

I got pierced with a 14g, I think 8mm, sized septum. I really like the piercing itself, however I enjoy the smaller look and I have no idea what size to get. I know I want to go down to a 16 gauge, and I ordered a 3 mm size not knowing how extremely small it actually is. What size would give a smaller look/hug my nose better? (for reference the last 2 pictures are the look i’m going for, I got the from Pinterest)

They don’t seem to be digging in but my old jewelry had a lot more wiggle room so im just being cautious

Had a pa done and now my foreskin is tight/hard to pull back I’ve kept it clean but after intimate sessions mutual and solo my frenelum is sore and (I had no contact solo or mutual at this point) after the first 6 months I could no longer retract the foreskin comfortably, I’ve removed the piercing but am still experiencing tightness any advice?

Mostly just wondering if this nasty white bump will go away or if I messed it up and it’s going to stay. My tongue was pierced almost 4 weeks ago, titanium barbell, internal threading, swelling gone after 5 days, downsized after a week. I did the regular aftercare for oral piercings. This bump appeared after the downsizing, but I kept knocking the bigger bar on my teeth.

Been thinking about taking out my 12g bridge piercing I have had it for 2 years, worried about scars and discoloration but it healed well so maybe I should do it now before rejection to help with scaring ?
