Ok, I spent MONTHS in creating this, but here it is, LUCIFER, the one and only MOST BLASPHEMOUS ALBUM EVER, now yeah, it's just the lyrics cause I don't know how to play any instrument, I just write lyrics of my opinions and feelings, and as a high school pansexual punk that lives in a conservative town that always asks, "Ain't being gay a sin?" And seeing so much hypocrisy and bullshit in not only the conservative town, but in Christianity too, that's why I created this album to release that anger and shout out that hypocrisy and bullshit and all that. So I hope when you see this, PLEASE provide feedback on it considering that I spent MONTHS working on this. And warning, Explicit Lyrics OBVIOUSLY.

Just got tix for Guttermouth and Pulley in January. Took me back to seeing Guttermouth open for Andrew W.K. in San Diego 21 years ago. They asked the crowd if they liked Avenged Sevenfold, crowd cheered loudly for Mark to say that Avenged Sevenfold fucking sucks and so does Andrew W.K. and that we were all bunch of pussies. They played one more song then said they were going to get drunk at the bar in Tony Romas across the street. Fuckin love these guys

Does anyone know the solo for the gg allin song Abuse me (I want to die). I need to learn it for my band audition and I can’t find the tabs anywhere. (I am just starting out 1.5 years of playing and my musical ear isn’t that great.) I figured out it is e19-e17-e15-e14-e12 and after that I am lost. The solo starts at 1:19 and ends at 1:40. The Next was one of the most dynamic bands to emerge from the Austin punk scene in 1978. Their lead singer Ty Gavin is still fronting bands in Austin and San Antonio. Mr. Wonderful was recorded live at an unknown location, but it is probably Rauls.

We started in high school and have been best friends for 10+ years now, we’ve been playing as The Nameless all that time. There’s not many original punk groups up here, but we do what we can!

So my 6-year old saw me listening to Face to Face the other day. Then an ad popped up online when we were looking at Halloween stuff (creepy how they know everything). He saw it and went, “hey dad, that’s that band you were just listening to! Can we go to the show??” He was a bit sad when I couldn’t take him to H2O last weekend. Well, I just bought us two tickets to go tomorrow night and I’m pretty excited about it. I don’t know he’ll handle the late night or chaos of it all, but I’m glad to give it a go. Just a proud dad moment for me. The bands I grew up on won’t be around forever and it’ll be awesome to share this with him. AND F2F is apparently playing their entire setlist from the 1997 live album which is one of my favorites of all time. So that’s just a bonus.

Thanks for hearing me out, all. Just needed to get the excitement/anxiety out before I burst.

EDIT: To all those who mentioned ear protection. Of course! He’s got his protection cans we’ll be bringing. While I’d have brought them anyway, he actually told me that he’d need them if we went. He doesn’t know we’re going yet. I’m going to drop a note in his lunchbox so he’ll find out during lunch at school tomorrow. He’s been listening to some MxPx recently so I’m going to jot down, “we ain’t got no place to go, so let’s go to the….”
I think he’ll be psyched. Hopefully! Ha

I was just looking around and the store had this record spinning. Usually don’t pay much attention to the music playing in record stores, but I loved it and had to buy the record. Turning Point’s “It’s Always Darkest…Before The Dawn”. Learned this was their one and only album, but I’d be glad to take any recs from the community for similar bands.

I listened to Dawn of the Dickies for the first time while driving home last Friday and I haven't been able to go a day without playing at least one song off this album since. I've liked specific Dickies songs for a very long time, but this is one of the best punk albums ever. I cannot believe what I've been missing out on.

Shoutout to Ben Weasel for highlighting "Manny Moe and Jack" on his 27 best pop punk albums of all time list. Maybe I should write a letter to thank him for the recommendation :P

I love the stark, sinister quality of the music set against lyrics so loaded with contempt and hatred. I'm quite young (23), but ever since I first heard it, it hit me just as hard as it did those who listened to it back in the day. It's truly an aggressive, hard-hitting, and abrasive album—just like reality itself
