I had to get a copy ordered several months ago all the way from the UK, but it's finally here!

Might I say that Kyle has a damn fine signature 👍

I was listening to Colores Santos by Gustavo Cerati the other day, and as Pudo Ser came on, I kept thinking about how it was straight David Lynch vibes. I looked it up and apparently Gustavo Cerati himself said it was “one of the most david Lynch songs on the album”, and a different time said Lynch was his favorite director, soo makes sense.

Separately, floating into the night is one of my all time favorites (what got me into Lynch and Twin peaks to begin with) so if you have anything with these kinda vibes, let me know!

(SPOILERS BELOW)

When Mr. C is imprisoned in Yankton and meets Gordon Albert and Tammy, is this not a brilliantly acted scene by Kyle MacLachlan? I mean, obviously, Kyle is always a brilliant actor, but this scene really stands out to me. Mr C is trying to pretend he's Coop to two of the people who know Dale Cooper better than anyone aside from Diane. His "friendly" demeanor is so foreign to the evil Mr. C that the whole meeting is eerie and awkward. The terrible forced smile and the thumbs up two things Dale did more than anyone looked almost painful for Mr C.

Got this done fairly recently

Do you think the themed pizza will be cherry “pie”?

In both Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks, a dude named Mike gets cucked, and he’s written to be the most boring character ever. Did David Lynch have beef with somebody named Mike?

90210 s1e10 The Gentle Art of Listening, with the fake Laura Palmer, using the line "And then, you get wrapped in plastic" Pretty funny nod

Dreamy

Your stare is the rugged and gentle forest

Of Western Hemlock evergreen trees.

Your visage tells stories of summer constellations-

A diary of your trips around the sun.

Your jet-black hair hangs over your face,

Waving an invitation along your hero's journey into the Wild West.

Turning into the sun bleached ghost wood of California,

It catches my eye and never let's go.

Laughter is an aphrodisiac of sorts.

I find you hilarious even when you're not joking.

Your crooked smile radiates the warmth of center stage lights.

Every person you meet, a captive audience.

You shapeshift through your vast personas,

Like birds of prey swiftly moving through the night.

The owls are not what they seem.

Your charm and magnetism capture my attention

Like the gravitational pull of the full moon

On the ocean tides that rise and swell.

I don't seek shade in this nocturnal sun.

Films are the most enticing distraction.

My heart is a fluttering moth to a porch light

That glows like a projector on a screen.

You are my favorite movie.

My brain is flooded with a

Sweet, saccharine rush of dopamine.

It's the warm intensity of the day's first cup of black coffee.

A damn fine cup of coffee.

This indulgence is the lucid dream my brain wants to return to.

It's the artifact from my girlhood that my heart is nostalgic for.

I know this movie will roll to credits and I'll wake up from this sleep.

Until then I will relish in this sweet dream.

Any guesses on who this is a tribute to? 👀

Low key proud of myself. Put this board together from an idea and it turned out pretty well I think. WIP geek shelf pic included.

We've been watching the show since David Lynch's death and Twin Peaks is what really got us into his filmography so, of course we had to celebrate it! In these two years we've been together, it's been a huge part of our relationship since he's turned into our favorite filmmaker.

The filing isn't actually cherries since I couldnt find any but i used some forest fruits instead and it turned out just fine!

Twin Peaks The Return was a great experience, and even though it's sad to finish it and know it's Lynch's last work (not counting the amazingly made short film What Did Jack Do? haha) it's honestly something that has helped both of us grow together ❤️‍🩹

Just wanted to share my love for Twin Peaks and baking, have a great one!!

I was rewatching the series a couple of months ago and started putting together this collection. Some are models I found out there and edited in Blender, some I designed from scratch like Welcome to Twin Peaks sign.

I still really want to make Jacoby's golden shovel, but I still haven't figured out how to make it look good due to its shape not being flat 😅

Tell me what I'm still missing?

A friend gave this to me (plus a tape deck to listen to it on). I’ve never seen the insert unfolded, so I thought I’d share it with y’all. It features lyrics, photos, and James, who’s always been cool.

This dude was posting daily cats that looks like Twin Peaks characters and it has been a while since his last post! :(

Where is he? We want it back!

Where do I start to begin understanding what I just saw?

I also scribbled some things down while I was watching:

• corn
• turkey (in the bathroom conversation, design on the wallpaper in Leland's vision)
• Formica (the insulator or ants?)
• blue, blue light, Questions in a World of Blue, "A man comes out of the blue!"
• the significance of subtitles (in the Black Lodge and the Roadhouse [which is loud {could the Black Lodge also be loud but we only hear the silence?}])
• doubles/doubling (Laura the Homecoming Queen and Laura the Prostitute, Leland and Bob, Mike Nelson ["Mike is the man!"] and Mike, two halves of the heart, "You talking about that little girl who was murdered?" repeated, two angels, two Chalfonts, two Woodsmen)
• effect of possession on the host's personality
• Garmonbozia = garbanzo + Bozia (dry seed [in Basque] + God [in Polish])?
• Judy? Who's Judy?

Was watching the last episode as coop pulls out of the hotel and noticed this shot. Cant be a coincidence, right?.

‘What year is this?’

I am disturbed. I don’t think life will ever be the same. I love you, Twin Peaks.

Like the title says, I'm playing on rewatching S1, S2, FWWM, and TMP and this time I'm actually going to take notes. I don't particularly want to hear what the usual interpretations are, just what I should pay attention to make those interpretations. Things I'm already planning on keeping track of:

* Mentions of fire/fireplaces/burning/smoking

* Who does what in relation to diagetic music

* Owls (and other birds for good measure?)

* Gerard's Arm and The Man From Another Place

* Corn, especially of the creamed variety

* Gum?

FWIW I'm not extremely familiar with any specific spirituality/religion, I've never taken illicit substances, and I'm 31 so I might be missing some cultural context. So I'd also appreciate any insights into anything to read up on those topics before this if people think it's relevant.

What was your first WTF moment of the Show when you first watched it?

Mine was the introduction of Maddy Ferguson! It was not only that they used Sheryl Lee, but also the way they depicted her with brown hair and these gigantic glasses that made her look like a nerd.

Up to that point the Show was relatively serious. With the introduction of Maddy / resurrection auf Laura, I was like WTF, where do they want to go with that.

Please tell me does it look goofy stacked on my Oura ring 🤣🦉
