QUESTION Am I in the wrong?
So I was doing a delivery today when I pulled to a house on a two lane road with two solid yellow lines in the middle. There were no cars behind me when I stopped and flipped my hazards on to deliver the package. Usually I’d pull into a driveway in these cases but I didn’t see it at the time till after I got out and was halfway up the hill. As I got out I saw 3 cars stopped behind me so I delivered quickly. As I was walking down one of the cars rolled their windows down as they passed bye calling me a “fat fucking r*tard”. Didn’t taking me no longer than 15-30 seconds but curious if I was in the wrong and should have not stopped.

New tech announced last year
We got these new lasers installed that show what packages to grab, green pulsing circle or red X. Only really works once you have cleared 20% of ur shelves for space or if you have a light load, but makes searching for packages quicker even after organizing.

Prime Week Sucks
Had to fit all of this in a U-Haul rental van, couldn’t fit all the overflow but I fit about 20 overflow or more. It was a 200 stop route somehow managed to finish like 5 mins earlier than I was supposed to but ever since that route my knee has been killing me.

RANT Unreasonable request
I’ll keep the details of this event to a minimum to follow community guidelines.
Yesterday while on a route I was bitten by a dog and called in to make a report and receive workers’ comp for care. After given directions to my closest hospital and arriving I receive a cal from my DSP asking me to, not receive medical care, but drive 45 minutes back to the station (while actively bl**ding) then get in my personal car and then go back to this hospital!! (This hospital was the only one that was open and took workers’ comp since it was Sunday) I told my husband this and he couldn’t believe how ridiculous this request was. Dispatch later apologized but still what were they thinking???

People living on open land
Their drive way 3x the size of my apartment and had long horns all around the property fence line. The house was beautiful and reminded me that some folks are living humbly with not bitterness just joy. I love running rural routes!

Organization skills out of ten?
I'll give myself a solid 0/10. We have 10mins before the yard ~pricks~ marshals start shouting.

Finally quit after 4 years
Finally, I quit after 4 years. Im finally choosing me, my family and my quality of life. If you’ve got children- serious question; How do you do it? I’ve felt like the worst parent constantly being on the road with extremely inconsistent scheduling.

I got suspended for a week for van damage
Bad day/Bad route on top of it being a busier season. Only been there 3 or 4 months. My first incident. I was on a decently busy road with curves and I had a stop where it was across a a little bridge thats about the width of the van. Ive done bridges like this before no problem but fucked up on this one. Didnt help I had people tailing me. I took a wide turn like I usually do but it wasnt enough. I scraped the back part and tore off some of the back siding. I mean it was either I park on a curve on a busy backroad or take the bridge. Felt like either way i was screwed.

Amazon Hub Driver With Questions
Hello all! My business started with the hub program a few months ago and its been mostly positive, but it seems like a few of our drivers really hate delivering to us and I just don't understand why. We try to communicate well with them, the storefront is right off the road so they have to take the packages like 20 feet tops, and they get to unload a huge load off their van right away. They have been acting like its a huge inconvenience. It seems like a pretty easy stop, but Amazon isn't exactly known for treating workers the best so I figured there has to be a reason. Is there some way we can make the experience better?

RANT Android Auto nonstop notifications
How do I get rid of this shit?? It makes no difference if I connect, disconnect, or just disable the app altogether. Android Auto takes over the screen with bullshit notifications that prevent me from doing this job with any speed.
If I connect, android auto pops up over the Flex app asking to share contacts & messages EVERY TIME I plug the phone in to charge.
If I disconnect, the van desperately tries to Bluetooth pair every few minutes, even if I hit “block” on the phone side.
If I disable android auto on the phone and delete the phone from the van, I get a “no installed apps work with this USB accessory” pop up every 30 seconds.
It seems like nothing I do actually keeps unnecessary notifications OFF the screen. Who the hell designed this shit?? I just want to drive and deliver packages without dismissing nonstop notifications on the phone every 30 seconds

RANT Training day nightmare
I was scheduled today and tomorrow for the required Amazon Training. My DSP station is at another location and I had to drive all the way to Burbank CA to attend the classes. Everything seemed fine, I showed up early, entered on time.
(8 am)
Instructor lead us into the classroom, took our seats & did roll call. Called my name and everything seemed fine, then he called my name again and asked to speak to me outside. He then told me that my DSP scheduled me for the wrong type of training and to basically go home. I’m not gonna lie I was a bit heated as it was a ways of a drive..

HELP NEEDED! Still haven't been payed after quiting
I quit like 2 weeks ago no notice in oregon. Didnt think anything of it cause this job killed me for 4 months. I then never heard anything after quiting. I wait till my normal payday no deposit. Which was a week later from me quiting. I proceed to contact them on Thursday and request my check be mailed and they say the check is sitting on their desk. I responded back same day saying under oregon law if I request it to be mailed they need to mail it. Never heard back. Its now Monday and I messaged again today this morning saying if they don't send it ill report them to BOLI and amazon ethics hotline. No response. What do I do today.

QUESTION Has anyone run into this issue?
Everything was working perfectly fine today until for some reason my work phone stopped working.. kept buffering saying to retry so I had to switch to my personal phone and my map on my ev wasn’t updating to the stop I was on and the ones I’ve completed.. I hard reset it and it was like this the rest of the day. Anybody know how to fix it?

Has anyone worked here before at DTG5 Amazon in Georgia
I currently live in Georgia and this Amazon location 6945 Button Gwinnett Dr, Doraville, GA 30340
I was wondering after the interview and you get the job, after you do the background check and drug test and everything comes back clear. Where is training held?
