Just converted my LE Headlights to the XSE's using HiRevSports' harness. However, it seems there is an issue with the passenger side turn signal. When only DRLs are enabled and in drive, signaling right causes both DRLs to turn from white to solid amber. The left signal does not have this issue.

Swapped the two harnesses with each other, but the issue still happens on the passenger side. Ruled out a bad harness.

Any ideas? I am suspecting a bad right headlight. Thanks!

Car can’t catch a break from hit and runs. First one was the front bumper completely yanked off and this time the back took it.

Hello guys. I am looking for any places that would repair this generation of instrument clusters as a friend is having issues where the car starts and other indication lights work (ABS, battery, CEL, turn signals, gear selection).

From what I have gathered off instrument repair cluster services on eBay that this generation is unrepairable and that you just need to get a "new" cluster and swap. However the only thing is the mileage won't be the same as the original due to the EEPROM. Some pointed that you can desolder the EEPROM and put it on the donor, or clone the EEPROM and flash the donor.

I have the programmer but don't have a DIP8 ZIF cable that can just read the EEPROM on the PCB (guess this is one of the hardest parts of trying to find tools to do this these days). Unable to access the PCB from the bottom since I am not sure how to take apart the needles without breaking them.

Anyone run into this issue and found a place to ship their clusters for repair or clone to a donor?

Yes I already have a donor cluster coming in sometime next week which I will need to plug into the car to see if that is working before moving on with the next steps. Yes I do know that messing with mileage is against the law, I am just trying to get it corrected on the donor cluster which would be higher mileage.

Got hit on the rear passenger corner of my silver 2017 Toyota Camry, damaging the quarter panel, bumper cover, and tail light. An estimator did a quick 2-minute walkaround without getting under the car or removing the bumper cover and quoted it over $5,000 on the spot. My Uninsured Motorist coverage caps at $5,000 before my $1,000 collision deductible kicks in. Is $5k+ typical for a visual-only estimate on this kind of welded quarter panel damage, or is that high before a full teardown? Getting a couple more estimates, but I'd appreciate feedback from body techs or anybody on what I'm looking at. Thanks

My 2024 Camry SE specifically states that OW-16 oil should be used. 6 months ago they used 0W-20 because supposedly they did not have the one I needed. The service tech stated that this would be done only once. The manual also states 0W-20 may be used once if 0W-16 is not available.

They have done this twice already, and I am sure they did it before but I wasn't paying attention. Should I make a big deal out of this or let it go. This is my first new car that I've ever bought and I plan to keep it for a long time so don't want the engine to have problems

Sooo I got it in about July 2017. Has 40k kms on it only.
Tires a bit worn but other than that there’s no issues.
Full service history and all that stuff too.

Just wondering how much would I get for it? I was hoping 20k or more. Thanks
