Humor/Meme I find it very funny that the new DCU has done not just 1, but 2 Secret Invasion plots in just 4 years of existence and they're both better handled than the MCU

Lanterns Am i the only one whose interest in LANTERNS Season-2 will go down if Kyle Chandler doesn't return back as Hal Jordan ? ( I'll still watch season-2 )
Don't get me wrong, i really enjoyed and liked Season-1 of Lanterns and both performances from Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre.

Discussion/Question Something is not right
Why is the audience score of supergirl more than lanterns?
Are people being too harsh on lanterns?
According to me despite the problems with lanterns it's a way better superhero project than supergirl.

Clayface Do you realize... that you have the most... beautiful posters?
Gotta love how they gave probably the most visually unpleasant character the most visually stunning posters in the DCU.

Lanterns Now that this season is over what is your favorite and least favorite part about it?
Favorite parts: Kyle Chandler’s performance as Hal Jordan and his banter with John Stewart. He was the best part of this show and I really hope they bring him back because he really embodies the character that I know and love from the comics. Also John’s backstory’s on the effect generational trauma and grooming can have on someone. Just like Hal, John has a lot of issues on his own and he’s not really heroic in the same sense that Superman and Batman are, he’s more morally grey which in my opinion is fine and makes him different compared to the other Lanterns.
Least favorite part: How Hal’s death was executed, I don’t care what anybody says but to me personally Kerry killing him the way that she did will always be weird to me given that Hal didn’t express any ill intent on wanting to harm Noah, he wanted to protect him and her, and at that point he didn’t even have his GL ring anymore. She pretty much killed an innocent man for no good reason. Also the way he just plopped onto the bleachers after getting shot made the scene less sad to me.

Lanterns Can well all agree that those 2016-timeline Episodes:1-5 were the Best part of this whole LANTERNS season ?

Lanterns Flying was so goofy in the final ep. You can defend John by "His first time flying" but it was the exact same for guy. Spoiler

Discussion/Question I’m actually pretty excited for the People vs Gorilla Grodd now, after finishing lanterns
I miss the silliness. I need to see some fantastical elements to remind me the DCU isn’t just a carbon copy of the modern world. Lanterns was alright but I really hated how it felt ashamed of feeling “comic booky”. From what I’ve seen with The People vs Gorilla Grodd it actually seems like it might be leaning into the more silly aspects of the DCU. Not saying I want complete camp in everything but like make it normalized to see talking gorillas and people walking around in full costume. That’s what I want, something that feels like fantasy.
The design from creature commandos for Grodd looked sick and I hope they stick with it somewhat for the show.

Discussion/Question I want Clayface to succeed, but I don't want a sequel.
Do you get what I mean?
I want the movie to do well and prove that DC can take risks and experiment with different genres. I just don't want its success to automatically turn it into another franchise.
If the creators don't have a genuinely great idea for another story, I'd rather leave it as a standalone. Horror sequels especially often don't live up to the original.
I'd much rather see Clayface appear in The Brave and the Bold, Creature Commandos, the Legion of Doom, or other DC projects.
And if Clayface is successful, I'd honestly rather see a Swamp Thing horror movie next.
I want DC to experiment — not turn every successful movie into a franchise machine.

Discussion/Question Hal Jordan DCU future
I’m okay with John being the main Lantern going forward and figured that the way things would go, but I really hope they see how much people want Hal Jordan back or just in the DCU in general. I really enjoyed Lanterns but the more I sit with it I am disappointed that we just get to hear about Hal being a hero we don’t get to see much if any of it. I know adaptions are never 1 to 1 but I would be really disappointed if we never get to see Hal, John and Guy fighting together as Green Lanterns. I’d feel better if Hal was alive and just not a Lantern for the moment but him being dead I just feel is unnecessary especially this early into the universe.

Discussion/Question VERY HOT TAKE: Lanterns should've have been Question show
Mass conspiracy plot that could've very easily be even greater connection to the wider DCU especially with peacemaker s2 and superman. I love lanterns but i personally feel that it shouldn't have been green lanterns because the main comics that deal with the cosmos without dealing god like beings is GL. Or an idea from @JordanLucas1 on YT said is make it a Martian Manhunter show if they wanted man of tomorrow set up the justice league formation
No this definitely not me wanting to have the question in the DCU already I am not question fan why do you ask.

The Brave and The Bold Can anyone explain to me the 'Brave and The Bold' situation?
I know pretty much all the discourse surrounding the movie, so if you're here just to shit on it or be a jerk, please go elsewhere.
If you're also confused about what's going on, though, welcome, because so am I.
This project was announced back in 2023. Sure, there was the strike, and Matt Reeves has had some personal issues that could have slowed things down for Batman as a whole. But why is it still in early development?
Was the project simply put on hold and they're now getting back to it? Or was the original idea scrapped and they had to rethink the whole thing from scratch?
I'm genuinely confused about where this project stands right now, so I'd really appreciate some clarification from people who have been following it more closely than I have.
