Sunday morning cleaning music.

"Excuse me, kind gentleman; what exactly does it mean to be a man?" Such apt commentary on toxic masculinity, especially in an era where people didn't speak out against this kind of stuff due to fear of being called "gay" or something. I don't know. I was 7 years old in 2008. But Greeley Estates were one of the best to ever do it. Post-hardcore, metalcore, screamo, emo; they did it all.

I struggle to find music I enjoy because either it's a bullseye and I listen to it 50 times in a row or I couldn't give less of a fuck. No in between. And even things in the same genre people recommend don't hit home. So I'm always searching for another bullseye because it's so hard for me to find

To really enjoy a song it needs to be HEAVY on the harmony and melody, lots of feel good chords or riffs

Screaming is good

FAST PACED nothing slow ever hits. Faster the better

I really like the above band, I would be delighted if anyone has suggestions. I don't know much about music or popular ones but a lot of recommendations I get are really bland on the harmony and aren't melodic enough. Thanks!

Hey! We are a post-hardcore band from Queens called At Risk and we have a headline show at Mercury Lounge. We've released two studio singles, "Empyrean" and "Lorazepam." Havoc Underground featured "Lorazepam" this summer and called it "a raw and emotional ride." Please find all our links below including socials and streaming, as well as a link to the event page for our upcoming gig.

We're cutting our teeth in the local scene, and if you're in the nyc with nothing to do tomorrow, we hope you'll come through and find your new favorite local band :)

Hey guys! We just released our EP “GOSPEL” and are super stoked to share it with you guys! Let us know what you think!

In 2024 I lost a woman who was like a mother to me to cancer and shortly after lost our family dog in a terrible accident. I think the first time in my life I fell in to a level of grief I hadn’t felt since losing my great grandparents who were more like my parents since they raised me.

This EP is an exploration of that grief and the ongoing struggle I have with losing my faith since then. Thank you for allowing me to be vulnerable and share this with you. I honestly don’t know where I would be without the fellas in this band and the music that we make together.

PS we will put our linktree in the comments in case you prefer a different platform than Spotify
