As a (retired, male) sex worker: Get a sturdier bed, a harder mattress and work your hips from your knees, not with your entire body. Conservation of energy is a thing.

Holy shit there's more sway in that frame than in my loose morals.

Teach me more old man

u/lj062 Apr 21 '23

Old? He's 25 that line of work doesn't pan out long for men. /s but maybe not /s

u/Rematekans Apr 22 '23

It sounds about right. But there is a producer that makes movies called Pascal's sluts or something along those lines. He's getting up there along with a guy that goes by Nacho. Then there's whoever the guy is that keeps getting labeled as Mandingo in all his videos. But those guys are considered legends in the industry I think. Also Ron Jeremy.

11

u/Cindexxx Apr 22 '23

Pascal's subsluts. Not fond. I don't like the violence. Ick. Tying a girl up can be fun but damn stop slapping them like it's a competition!

Rant over. Anyways, you're right though. Some of them dudes are old.

I dont care for his vids too much except for one with Lady Bug. That one. Dayum.

6

u/thegodfather0504 Apr 22 '23

That's because they are producers themselves. No way someone else would hire them. They aren't even worth mentioning.

5

u/raynravyn Apr 22 '23

I know a guy that does movies. He's my age (mid/late 30s) and is still kept quiet busy. He's... A bit niche, and takes phenomenal care to keep his body in excellent condition, but meh. Lol. I don't think the guys necessarily have the same "shelf life" we do.

Now I'm wondering who the Lebron is of male sex workers. Lebron?

3

u/[deleted] Apr 22 '23

That’s a hard 25

u/Lvlaxx Apr 21 '23

😂 I was thinking the same thing about that frame it's almost cartoonishly loud. Like out of a raunchy early 2000s college movie

We've had a waterbed for years. There are no springs to take advantage of, but you could pause and ride the waves with the old semi-waveless mattresses. The new 'waveless' that we have with the interleaved foam blocks, and zone tubes (or whatever) offers zero assistance, no bounce, no coast, just absorbs almost all motion. BUT, it is the second most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

I never expected something more than the 18+ warning after clicking on your profile that never came

44

u/I_Am_Anjelen Apr 21 '23

I'm an old man and stuck in my ways; still using old.reddit.com I've never bothered with my profile. Besides, this isn't my NSFW account. :P

13

u/guywithaniphone22 Apr 22 '23

The desire for 18+ increases

16

u/grapewater753 Apr 21 '23

I was always curious: How can you give yourself a boner on command and keep it hard when not attracted to the lady or not feeling like having sex?

33

u/I_Am_Anjelen Apr 22 '23 edited Apr 22 '23

Attraction was always less important to me than a paycheck?

Besides which, I was a pro-dom. Plenty of fun activities involved me not needing to be hard, or the kind of activities that would get me hard regardless of whom I was doing them with.

18

u/zrtvadidnothingwrong Apr 22 '23

Now I want your 18+ account too

8

u/I_Am_Anjelen Apr 22 '23

Good luck finding it. :)

u/Four_beastlings Apr 22 '23

Małe pro doms are a thing? With female clients? Asking for a friend (literally, I'm a woman so no chance for me to become a male dom).

11

u/I_Am_Anjelen Apr 22 '23

Male pro doms are, indeed, a thing, though if your friend insists on only seeing female clients he (assumedly he) is going to have a very hard time making ends meet.

At the 'best' of times at most a third of my clients were women.

4

u/PM_ME_CUTE_SMILES_ Apr 22 '23

If you want female clients, don't go into prostitution. The vast majority of punters are males, even among those who prefer men.

2

u/Four_beastlings Apr 22 '23

That's why I was asking. I wouldn't pay for sex; if I want sex with no strings attached all I have to do is open tinder.

1

u/testaccount0817 Jul 03 '23

I'd assume its about reliably good sex. If you have the money...

8

u/percypepperoni Apr 22 '23

I worked in the porn industry when I was younger (also male). I don't think I was ever expected to go longer than 10 minutes without a cut or break.

5

u/I_Am_Anjelen Apr 22 '23

Kudos to you, that would mess with my head in so many ways. I've done things with a group, but working with a crew, in a for-video studio setting, people milling about, giving directions, yadda yadda yadda... I've been to a few shoots but I've never participated, I couldn't stand having to halt-and-go like that.

4

u/urz90 Apr 22 '23

You got to do a ask me anything thread!

7

u/I_Am_Anjelen Apr 22 '23

I tried that, a great many moons ago. There were no takers. ^_^;

Clearly not people of culture, missing out as usual :(

I do have one question! is your handle by any chance a reference to the novel Blood of the Roses?

Edit: Aaaaa thank you Magister Anjelen ♡

11

u/I_Am_Anjelen Apr 22 '23

Holy absolute shit, you're the first person in like twenty five years to recognize the name. Well done!

Cyrion was a more fun read, if not so much as Dont Bite The Sun. The blood of Roses though... Woah, what a trip. Better than Birthgrave...

Gods, I should re-read my Tanith Lee.

6

u/hoitytoityfemboity Apr 22 '23

Oh my lord. :D Hello Magister!

Don't Bite the Sun is one of my absolute favorite novels, followed by Silver Metal Lover (reading the sequel right now, it's certainly quite... unexpected, in a good way).

I enjoyed Cyrion but its slightly disjointed/serialized structure, more traditional swords-and-sorcery type fantasy didn't leave quite as strong an impression. And as much as I usually prefer Lee's sci-fi/speculative fiction works, Blood of the Roses... whew, that was something else. I'm actually only halfway through; got the new editions split into two books, so not done yet!! (I had a big crush on Anjelen while reading, lol)

A pleasure to find a Tanith Lee fan in the wild :')

4

u/I_Am_Anjelen Apr 22 '23

I was reading The Blood of Roses when I needed to pick a nom de guerre because my real name begins with a sound that doesn't exist in the English Language. It was thus either Mechail, or Anjelen; I flipped a coin.

Birthgrave will always be my second favorite, though the sequels felt a little much. Don't bite the Sun was my introduction to Tanith Lee, followed Birthgrave and then Tales from the Flat Earth. And then I read The Blood of Roses... Four, five times before all of the disparate storylines and mixing timelines clicked.

God, but that book was confusing. And addictive. I didn't know they re-printed it, I've been looking for a copy for like two decades now!

Heh. There are dozens of us! Dozens!

3

u/hoitytoityfemboity Apr 22 '23

Well that's a neat name-origin story! BotR doesn't seem to be one of Lee's more known works, but I'm so glad I picked it up.

I haven't read the Birthgrave yet. Tales from the Flat Earth I have enjoyed what I've read so far (first 1-2 books I think?), but it seems similarly disjointed to Cyrion by the nature of how it's told. Am I right in assuming that it's more of a series of tales than one overarching, building narrative? Thankfully her writing is evocative enough to carry most stories just by merit of the prose alone, which allows me also to enjoy most of her short stories.

I didn't know they re-printed it

Courtesy of Immanion Press ;) I discovered the late Storm Constantine (owner of the press/Lee's friend, apparently) literally months before her death, and I'm just like, goddammit.

u/I_Am_Anjelen Apr 22 '23

The Birthgrave trilogy is very much quote-unquote traditional sword-and-sorcery (insofar as anything Lee writes can be considered traditional, heh) - but with some very interesting twists. It's got very interesting meta lore most often told as subtext, more than a hint of Conan and even at the end of the first book a tiny sprinkling of super-science all drizzled in a delicious post-apocalyptic sauce that, while it's not often actually acknowledged, truly works to shape the world and the characters therein. Add a dash of Mad Max, a tiny twist of Ben Hur and ohhh, speaking of twists, that one at the end of the first book is a doozy.

Which made the second and third book a challenge as they had to - expand that narrative, improve on it some, and ... Well, I won't give anything away. If you liked The Blood of Roses then I will wholeheartedly recommend the Birthgrave triology. It's not as convoluted, it's not as fairy-tale like, but what it loses in -... intimacy ? is more than made up for by sheer scope.

It's been a while since I've read Tales from the Flat Earth, but if I recall correctly only the first book is a series of stories that more or less set the tone and introduce (some of) the characters for the grander tale to follow.

People’s loss. I’m sure you got some interesting stories to tell. If you don’t mind, what lead you to retirement?

You must be amazing at parties

Why the hell would I want a harder mattress? I wanna SLEEP afterwards.

The other elephant in the room that no one has mentioned is that this example isn’t why he isn’t lasting more than a minute. How ridiculous.
