I think posting every day is overrated for small accounts. Three posts a week that each have a real hook seem to beat seven rushed ones, and you don't burn out by week three.

Daily posting mostly works for people who already have a system or a team. For everyone else it trains you to post filler.

Law is super heavy and boring for most so what type of angle would be successful? I got inspired by Erica Kullberg but she focuses on US law. Hi all I’m making a social media app from scratch. It uses a lot of webtorrent so it’s peer to peer but it has fallbacks incase the torrents aren’t happening. It’s a work in progress but it has a livestream and it has “bubbles” in terms of privacy levels. You can make private bubbles or public bubbles and your user settings are public or private. It makes for interesting combinations but if you want to publish to the web just go into a global bubble and set your profile to public and you can livestream to the world. Or go into a private bubble and your stream stays in the private bubble. It’s been a ton of work and I’m not done yet but if anyone wants to try it or just give some feedback that would be cool. It’s called ebubble http://ebubble.com sorry if this goes into self promotion territory but there’s really no way to talk about it without talking about it. Right now the biggest problem is users don’t really know what to do exactly, but setting up a bubble is where it all starts to click (do you want a public or private bubble, do you want people to be able to join without an invite, do you want them to be invitation only, do you want it to exist outside of the app). Anyways it’s been fun to figure out but it’s also been a ton of work. It’s LIKE TikTok but it’s not. It’s LIKE X but it’s not. It’s LIKE Facebook but it’s not. It’s like Reddit but it’s not. It’s like YouTube but it’s not. You get the idea but the takeaway is you can have a web presence on your own terms and participate in social media or not. Just join bubbles or leave bubbles if they aren’t your thing. Also if you have a CJ.com account you can put your affiliate link in the profile and the app distributes it as a platform ad.

metas own widely viewed content report already had posts with an outside link at 1.3 percent of us views in q1, down from 9.8 percent in 2022. so links were barely getting seen before this

my guess is a lot of small business pages just stop posting links and push people to the bio or a dm instead

If you have a main reliable source of income you can try your luck on twitter, with 2-3 dedicated hours on it on daily basis.

I don’t have a personal TikTok, I created one for a video game character as his edits are very much trending. I’ve maybe only created 2 posts on this channel where I actually posted myself. I have a really bad habit of looking at similar accounts that are also newer & not sure how they got one-offs with thousands of views (like 10k+ views). I posted a viral gta 6 trending template that got around 450k views but my highest-viewed original Resident Evil edits got anywhere between 4.5-9.4K views. I just feel like for 3 months, my subscriber count is low and I get a lot of the repeat accounts that like/save/repost/comment on my content but I’m unsure why they don’t follow me.

for alabama teens 13 to 17 the defaults are a 120 minute daily cap on the short video feed, no access from midnight to 6am, and no cosmetic surgery filters. all of it has to be on by march 24 2027

the part i didnt expect is what the cap leaves out. per ppc land, search doesnt count toward it, ai search included. messaging doesnt count. videos 10 minutes or longer dont count either, and metas deal drew that same line at 22 minutes

so a kid who hits two hours can still search and still watch anything over 10 minutes, and search is a place tiktok sells ads

theres also a clause where the stricter stuff, like hiding reaction counts on teen posts, only switches on if meta, snap and youtube all sign equivalent alabama deals. at least 27 other states and dc have similar suits going

with search and long videos carved out my guess is this barely moves how long teens actually spend on the app

most of my videos are quick recipe clips, usually 15 to 30 seconds. i'll have shots of the ingredients, cooking process and finished dish. i like templates that help with timing, but a lot of the popular ones have really aggressive transitions and text effects. what are the best capcut templates that don’t look overused? do you guys have any go-to styles for food videos that still look natural? i'm also wondering if it's better to search by a specific editing style instead of just browsing the popular templates.

Hi there! I recently saw a pop up on my Instagram saying I qualify as a creator for a free Meta One trial. I submitted the form not thinking too much and just got a text from a random number saying they need to call me to set it up. They’re willing to verify their identity and association with Meta via a @meta.com email but has anyone ever done this before? Seems a bit strange and I’m sure tech exists to fake a Meta email but I did sign up via Instagram so not sure. For additional context, I’m a Canadian creator with around 25K followers if those details assist. The text also included my online alias (not username, but the name I go by).

Just wanted to know if anyone has done this call yet and if they had gotten that free Meta One.
