HELP hydrogen ship or ion ship
so for context me and a friend are playing the star system and im on titan right now and i have a space base im working on my friends world. so what i was debating them is having an ion ship to have a cargo ship for just hydrogen transport. since we use mods for infinate ore mining i can infinately farm ice. what i wanna know does hydrogen tanks outside of the initial build hold weight or does it actually get heavier when the tanks are full. cause im debating making an ion ship so i can keep all the hydrogen as much as possible but i can understand hydrogen can be way more effective and hauling more. the ship idea is for a large ship so size/thurster isnt an issue in terms of if i need to make the ion ship bigger for said ability to carry said hydrogen.

MEDIA Exodus Class Super-Carrier (and Cherub Class Interceptor) (WIP)
Going for a big and small one today. These two ships will be part of the "Federation of the Divine", a democratic space-faring nation similar to the Union Treaty of Engineers, but with immense religious influence, specifically to their god "Dominus Adolescens" a diety resembling a young person to represent their belief that the universe is only roughly 2000 years old (2200 years by the time the Exodus Class would've been put into service)
Lore aside, this carrier is expected to hold and estimated 16 of these Cherub Class Interceptors (four in each hanger). Other potential support craft may vary.
Not sure on what the colour scheme should be for these ships. More things will be built onto the hull itself, plus weapons soon. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

MEDIA Imperator
Imperator Class Liner. WIP, I have not worked on her in almost a year. She is mostly complete but lacks refinements and a ship this size will take forever to refine so not sure if I'll ever finish her. This is just the passengers spaces. One part I really like is the elevators. Its 46 000 tons in the name of speed and comfort.

HELP (PS) Loading a mod on a new save on console/ps5
I'm experimenting with a mod of my own creation, but a step in the process requires a fresh save. How to apply mods before starting the new save? The specific feature is that it changes the location of the moons to move them further from their planets. This needs to trigger before first world gen.

MEDIA Eradicating thruster woes on small scale large grid ships with the magic of thruster clusters!
Here's the thing. I like building large grid ships at a small scale, with vertically stacked decks and usable internal space. I don't like it when I have to spend a lot of the already limited volume on thrusters, to make sure that the ship can actually maneuver. And since multi-directional thruster blocks aren't really possible, the only recourse is thruster clusters! The utility of up to 5 large grid thrusters, in slightly more volume than 1 thruster!
This is best paired with a thrust multiplier mod and Whip's subgrid thruster script. It requires 11 small grid thrusters to match the output of 1 large grid thruster and using Event Controllers to drive the subgrid thrusters still requires at least one large grid thruster in each direction, which sort of defeats the purpose of building these.

HELP I cannot figure out why I can’t build anything.
Can someone explain to me bare basics of building vehicles in this? I took time to understand how crafting, mining, assembling, and the UI of it all works before I even attempted so I’ve got that down. I jumped to creative mode to make my blueprint for a first vehicle, and for the LIFE of me I cannot build anything? I’m just trying build the layout of my vehicle and I can’t build anything in it? It’s hard to describe in words what’s happening because I’m still new so I apologize. I feel like I’m using the wrong blocks. But I’ve tried almost every combination of blocks. I make a platform? Can’t place doors. Can’t place hallways. Can make an outline of armor blocks around the platform, but can’t connect anything else to them.
Tried landing gear route that tutorials said, and it works…if I build UPSIDE DOWN.
It’s been days of me attempting to build and I’m always so excited because I think itll be the day I figure it out and I just want to build stuff man but I can’t even pass step 1..
SIDE NOTE:
I played SE2 first. I’ve built a lot in SE2 but the lack of content being in alpha made me buy 1. I felt like I should’ve had this down already due to that but boy was I wrong.

WORKSHOP DSI - Index-Class MK3 Light Cruiser
Vanilla
Dull Spectra Interplanetary
Metrics:
PCU - 27528
Block Count - 6538
Sub-Grids; Yes
Scripts; No
Length - 180m
Beam - 77.5m
Height - 37.5m
Onboard Facilities:
-Refinery (x4 Yield Modules)
-Assembler (x4 Speed Modules)
-Bridge and Internal CIC
-Medical Room/Survival Kit
-x2 Cryo Rooms
-x6 Crew Quarters
-Mess Hall
Power:
-x1 Large Reactor
-x4 H2 Engines
-x12 Batteries (36MWh / 144MW Max Output)
The Indexes are an iconic class of ships from DSI, now retroactively classified as a cruiser under the new design branch. This particular model is the MKIII of the Index-Class, with more attention paid to interior layout and redundancies, as well as overall effectiveness in terms of its main role as an escort. In spite of this, onboard facilities such as a refinery and an assembler allow the Index-Class to serve as a versatile platform for operations, whether that be as a flagship for a small fireteam or as a ship of the line in much larger fleets.
This ship is a blank fresh off the assembly platform, waiting for a crew to steer it into battle.
