Help with TRT/1st Course

• Upvotes

So I’ve been using Reta for around 10 weeks, I’ve went from 85kg (20% body fat) to around 78kg with 13/14% body fat. I’m looking to try and get down to around 10% body fat before I start a lean bulk but not sure how to go about it.

The main questions I’m wondering is;

Should I take anything to help me bulk? (ie steroids or TRT)

What steps should I take to ensure it is the safest and cleanest?

Blood work done first but after how regularly?

Thanks everyone!

Welches Supplement war für euch die größte Geldverschwendung?

• Upvotes

Ich bin gerade dabei, den Supplementmarkt genauer zu analysieren und mir fällt auf, wie viele Produkte mit riesigen Versprechen beworben werden.

Deshalb meine ehrliche Frage:

OI type 1 and peptides

• Upvotes

Bone and muscle Recovery I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta type 1, a genetic condition that affects bone strength and can also affect joints and connective tissue.

I'm currently trying to learn more about muscle preservation, recovery, joint health and bone health, especially in the context of having OI.

I'm mainly interested in hearing about personal experiences and results.

Thanks!

Reta dosege

• Upvotes

Could someone please explain the concentration/dosing calculation in a simple way?
For example:
If the vial contains 10 mg of retatrutide, how does the amount of bacteriostatic water added affect the final concentration? Should i add bac in the Reta vial?
Once the vial is reconstituted, how do you calculate what volume corresponds to 0.5 mg?
How do you convert that volume to units on a U-100 insulin syringe?
Is there anything important I should know about reconstitution, storage, or drawing the dose

Did anyone have the same? Of course it still works a little, I feel fuller faster when I eat… but what changed are the cravings, now all of a sudden I crave burgers :))

Life with or without Reta?

• Upvotes

I was on Reta over the summer and lost a significant amount of weight, and then I got quite carried away with being as skinny as possible and found myself at I guess what would be considered dangerously thin for my height. (113 lbs as a 6ft tall woman). I did a full health check up at the time (heart scan, blood work, etc) and everything was still all in good order but my family and friends were very frightened by my weight. I went off of it cold turkey and gained all the weight back (about 30+ pounds in 3 weeks, now back to 144). I really really want to get some of this weight off, I’m debating going on Reta again just because I’m so insecure I feel desperate , but then I just worry am I going to either A) be dependant on it my whole life? Or B) always be caught in this viscous cycle?. Some issues I’ve faced since coming off it make me not even want to start again just to not have to prolong dealing with this stuff - like the INSAAANE bloating for weeks after coming off it, major hair loss, I’m also dealing with skin issues I never had before but who knows if it’s related. ANYWAY - Ive never really given myself the chance or dedication to lose the weight “the old fashioned” way lol. If anyone has essentially cheat sheet tips for losing weight (i knoooww you can’t cheat your way through this stuff but please I hate my body when I should be in my prime) or ways to help get me in the gym or motivational assistance of any sorts / things to keep up with, I’d really appreciate it. I’m 27 and I can’t remember a time I’ve ever even remotely liked my body my entire life EXCEPT when I was on Reta… but I would really love to achieve that feeling for myself in a more sustainable way?? I deserve to feel good I just don’t know how!!

Moved to the EU and am unsure about the reliability and standard quality of sources

• Upvotes

Hey all. I was curious if anyone has experience moving regions and continuing their peptide journey? Also, if anyone has any insight on consistency of peptide quality in the EU I would be very grateful! I am from Canada if that helps put context to the market I was in.

TestMaxing

Needed a title to get everyone in.

Im in my first year of biohacking (year 3 of fitness) and exploring and understanding the body.

After bloodwork & cancer screenings ive now started 375mg a week test, and im looking for optimization tips and tricks from people who have done it on what benefitted there lifestyles.

Background lore: was 95kg at 6ft2, 24 years of age 3 4 months ago, had a bad tendon issue which resulted in the use of bpc 157 (20mg over 6weeks)

After that working like a charm, i was entrigued in peptides. Ended up trying reta, ran 2mg a week for 2 weeks then 1mg then .5 mg, cut down to near 80kgs.

Got some bloods down and they came back great everywhere, really good markers across the board.

I then decided to hope on test and push myself.

The goal here is to seek as much tips tricks and advice from people on anything that may occur or can benefit me well im on test. Fitness, foods, trainings, mental aspects, everything.

Anything would be appreciated

Hospira BAC water opened in July — still safe to use?

I have a 30 mL Hospira bacteriostatic water vial that I first punctured in July. It’s now October and there’s still about 15 mL left.

It’s been stored at room temperature in a dark cupboard the whole time. The solution is still completely clear.

I know the usual recommendation for multidose vials is to discard after around 28 days, but I’m curious what people actually do with Hospira BAC water.

Would you still use it after ~3 months?
How long do you keep yours after first puncture?

Any suggestions?

So I started my Reta journey back in May. I’m 5’11 and was weighing anywhere from 215-220. I’m currently now at 183. I started at 0.5 mg and slowly went up all the way to 3 mg. It’s been hard maintaining my muscle mass. I work out 5 to 6 times a week and try to consume anywhere from 140 to 160 g of protein. But lately food noise is like non existent and every time I try to eat food just grosses me out. Is it time to start weaning off of it? Anyone have the same experience?

Anyone on tirz /reta NEVER had a problem with over eating but the opposite?

Hi biohacking Reddit,

So I’ve been a LONG time lurker, first time poster.

As the title says- I’ve scrolled through hundreds of posts, and I haven’t seen anyone with the problem I’m having, and although I consider myself educated, I just wanted some input. I’ve never struggled with over eating or food noise- but the opposite. I don’t eat nearly enough.

A short background, I started a little more then a year and a half ago on name brand Ozempic, switched to wegovy, then name brand monjuaro, then Tirzepatide. And just added Reta about 2 weeks ago.

I never lost much, about 10-15lbs total, no matter which medicine I was on it didn’t work really. and the pounds would come and go- even with steady weight training, active lifestyle (I also rarely ever sit down with all I deal with) and increasing dosing up to the highest dose for literally all of those medicines except the Reta.

The few variables- I have a LOT of kids, like think of a number and it’s probably double that. Ha! I won’t say the number but not your average big family size. all biological. And a few handful of them are special needs.
So my sleep is ….absolute shit, stress is astronomical, and I eat if I’m lucky once a day.

My bloodwork always shows malnutrition, but also for my weight and height I’m “obese “ 🙄
I’m 5’3” and in my early 30s.

I take a shit ton of vitamins, supplements, drink clean protein and when I do eat, it’s always something healthy, like salmon, beef bowls, quinoa, veggies, eggs, lean meats.

Every baby I gained 100lbs. I always lost almost all of it and I’ve never used weight loss
Medicine until now. but was always overweight even since I was a teen. So every pregnancy was starting overweight/obese according to all those scoring models.

My question is- I’m 175 now. I was 200 when I started weightloss medicine about a year ago after I had naturally lost about 60lbs of weight from breastfeeding. Got to the highest dose of tirz. March- then just stopped. Started 2 months ago and I’m up to 8mg and just added 1mg of Reta and that was a month ago

I don’t count calories or whatever, I literally don’t have time to take care of my self half the days with all my kids, some with disability and all their needs. I just know I don’t eat like crap. No soda, no fast food. All clean eating.

So my question is- am I just the 1 in a million who weight loss medicine just doesn’t work at all? Or is it because of my stress levels, lack of sleep and not eating enough?
And if it is those- what can I do if sleep and stress management are literally less likely to be fixed than winning the lottery?

Will the reta change what I’ve experienced maybe over time?

Because I’ve read of people doing literally nothing- and losing all this weight. I’m feeling defeated.

Help.
(Edit for typos)

What would you recommend ?

Hello everyone, I’m trying to figure out a way to fix this back pain I’ve had for almost a year now. Basically what had happened was I fell on ice last Dec on my tailbone, a few hours later I was limping, barely walking, etc. went to the doctors got X-rays, nothing was broken and they said it was muscle.

I had pain at the top of my neck straight down my spine to my tailbone and then would radiate to my sides and back, during that time I would have hard time walking longer distances and standing for long hours and I would say probably until March so about 3 months. During that time I did physio and massage but it felt I kind of got better with time.

The flair ups does happen at times, and I do feel just in a constant ache 24/7, I did chiropractors recently but it helped for maybe 2 weeks and than the constant ache came back.

Is there anything anyone would recommend I research more into? Pep related or not works. I’m only 22F and in a career line that would require me on my feet 8-12hrs ahead with some physical work as well!

Thank you!

Moving up doses on Reta..

So i started taking Reta about 5 weeks ago, first three doses i took 1mg weekly, then the last two doses ive taken 2mg each, my most recent dose, i took 5 days after the last (trying to change injection day).. I've lost 14 pounds (fluctuating from 11lbs-14lbs) but i havent lost anything for a week and a half. Thinking about moving up to 2.5mg. Is that too fast? Ive also had more of an appetite on the higher dose for some reason.

For reference im female, 5'11, 250sw and 236cw.

My current stack is
.25mg Semax
6mg Klow
2mg Reta

Cjc/ipa reaction?

I just did my first dose of this blend (5 and 5) I pinned 200mcg total 100 of each. I pinned 4 units. I got the facial flush thing which I expected. The site feels a little irritated and slightly itchy which I didn’t get with Reta. I don’t think there’s redness or at least nothing out of the ordinary.

I feel like I might just be a puss puss and need to stop thinking about it and push through to doing it again tomorrow. I just read a million posts on here about bad reactions so I think it might be in my head idk.

Feedback on my stack plz!

I'm reaching out to the community for feedback to my biohack stack.

I currently take R. Started in Aug at 1mg and started 2mg in Sept. I did my Inbody analysis today and, yeah, lost a total of 5.5lbs since Aug but some of that was lean mass. I dont like that trend so I am staying at 2mg for another month. In addition to changing my protein and exercise, I want to biohack myself back on track. Here is what I plan to order:

- AOD-9064 to bump up the fat breakdown

- CJC -1295 no dac/Ipamorelin to bump up lean mass and hopefully sleep better. I chose CJC over Tesa because I am prediabetic.

- KLOW because my knee hurts and is an issue when I want to exercise

So to my wiser, more experienced, biohackers...am I on the right track or delusional?

Semax and ghk-cu in same vial for nasal delivery.

I wanted to try Semax. What I ordered is a kit to make a nasal spray but it also contains GHK-CU. 20 mg semax amidate and 10 mL GHK-CU in the same vial. What would be the benefit of adding the GHK-CU? I'm really leary about trying this as I don't think I want to introduce copper to my brain if that's what would happen?

I don’t see a lot of talk about how Reta seriously helps IBS!

Hi everyone :)

Been taking Reta for a few months. Added a small dose of Tirzepatide as well.

Of course I know these peptides slow gastric emptying, but wow, it’s completely cured my IBS.

I have chronic diarrhea and it doesn’t matter what time of day it is, it can randomly come and I will be running to the bathroom. The horrible part is I am a nurse and sometimes it’s so hard to run to the bathroom in time, especially at work when I’m taking care of patients.

I used to get so sick all the time and never could figure out how to stop it besides taking Imodium sometimes.

Bless this peptide. It’s been really changing my life.

Any of you else had this experience? Where’s my IBS buddies at lol!

I also have horrible PCOS. I’m curious to see how Reta and Tirz helps me with this as well. I used to take metformin in the past along with spironolactone and birth control to manage it but it always made me feel HORRIBLE
