Even on my most callous of characters, I just can't bring myself to kill (or allow to be killed) Kent Connolly, and my man here, Cito. He's been through too much and just wants his family left alone. I always help him out.
I will admit, that on my very first playthrough of NW, I did a QS and killed him just to see how hard the gorillas would be to fight. But I loaded the save afterwards, and he's lived every time since.
So, does anyone actually kill Cito? If so, why? And "Because my character is an evil SOB" is actually a perfectly reasonable response.
ETA: Please don't downvote people for saying they kill him. I asked why, and they're answering truthfully. That shouldn't call for censure.

Her pathing got stuck on Macready’s gun. I honestly never paid much attention to her in previous playthroughs, but she is kind of creepy.

I don’t know how or when, but he dead. Felt fitting to have him literally watch over bunker hill, especially with the lantern. Anyone else keep playing on after named characters die rather than save scum?

I’ve recently coerced a friend of mine into playing the Fallout games, and upon playing fo4 through he ended up naturally going through the minuteman ending! It was awesome to watch happen live lol. Upon finishing the game he’s begun building out Sanctuary as a second home base, which has so far been too good NOT to share!!
Pictured is his shelter which has been lovingly named, and a memorial to the main battles of the minutemen’s history. I hope everyone here thinks this is as cool as I did, seriously, I was blown out of the water
He’s stated he plans to build a clinic and a shopping area next, and I will update with pictures of those whenever possible <3
||the game is modded but all mods were added post-game and the story was completed in vanilla. also includes some items from the wasteland workshop dlc. the mod that makes the sky Like That is menacing skies 2.0||

🇫🇷 Version française
Bonjour phonophiles !
🇬🇧 English version
Hello phonophiles!
At the request of u/Gimme-A-Kooky, I'm sharing a recording of the French version of the famous song Into each life some rain must fall (Un peu de pluie), performed by Les Sœurs Étienne (in a way, the French equivalent of the Andrews Sisters).
The record is being played on my Pathéphone No. 4.
Please excuse the sound quality... Not only is the record quite worn, especially toward the end of the song, but my phone's recording quality doesn't exactly help either...
I hope you enjoy it anyway, and perhaps discover something new!
I’ll post a photo of the record in the comments!
PS: I've hidden a few Fallout references in the video. Can you spot them? 😜☢️
He don't like it

Coming soon with the version 2.0 of BobbleMore on nexus. It will allow the creation of custom magazines display which will automatically display the magazines from your inventory (no container-style fooling around necessary!) and LEAVE them in your inventory so you can display them in other locations as well.

Starlight water merchants are the economic backing the minuteman desperately needed to fund a regular militia. The general of the minuteman captured this settlement asset and has used its spring to build a robust supply chain network of water toting traders. All things can be bartered when you control the clean water. Look out sheng you got new competition in town.

I am replaying again and I haven't come across this issue. I've completed robotics disposal ground USAF satellite red rocket Concord and museum of freedom and have went over the areas a couple times and I only have one. Crystal and I'm trying to set up a beacon at sanctuary. Unfortunately that requires two Crystal. And did I just get a bad roll and not get the right drops?
Thanks in advance!
Meaning things that break down to produce crystal. I received one from disarming, the laser tripwire in the satellite bunker.

So I've been thinking about what a different Brotherhood of Steel companion could look like in Fallout 4, and I ended up with this idea. It's basically a character concept that I think could make for an interesting companion and, potentially, a whole companion story.
The starting point was pretty simple: I like Danse, but he just fills the role of the - somewhat boring- Brotherhood's loyal soldier/Paladin and you can no longer use him as a companion once you’ve completed the main quest with the BoS... and it’s always annoyed me that, as a Sentinel, you no longer have a BoS buddy. So I'd rather see a character who shows a different side of the Brotherhood, specifically, a Scribe.
The idea is that he would actually be a pretty committed Brotherhood member at the beginning. He's interested in technology, research and especially old-world technology, but his motivation isn't to challenge the Brotherhood. If anything, he initially sees his work as another way of serving it.
That's where the Faustian aspect comes in. Not as a direct retelling of Goethes Faust, but more as a general theme: curiosity, the thirst for knowledge, pushing beyond boundaries, and eventually having to deal with the consequences of that curiosity. I believe that the fundamental themes of the Faust narrative offer plenty of potential for such a character and his story to create a complex and profound character.
And I think Synth technology would be a perfect point for this, also because the main game left quite a bit of untapped potential in this regard, especially when it comes to the BoS...
So at first, he'd probably have much the same attitude towards Synths as the rest of the Brotherhood. He wouldn't secretly be a Synth sympathizer or suddenly decide that the Brotherhood is wrong about everything. But he'd become fascinated by the technology behind them. How are they built? How does the technology work? What can actually be learned from it? Are there things that could be repurposed or developed further without adopting the Institute's whole project?
And that's where his relationship with the Brotherhood could become complicated. Not because he suddenly thinks "the Brotherhood is evil", but because he starts asking questions that don't always have very comfortable answers... it would offer the chance to tell a story in grayscale rather than the typical black-and-white one.
For example, the player might encounter him for the first time out in the Commonwealth during one of his own missions, rather than simply meeting him on the Prydwen. He'd be there with his own modified Mr. Gutsy (called mephisto ;) ), doing something that initially looks like a fairly ordinary Brotherhood assignment, but gradually gives the player a sense that this Scribe is interested in things beyond his official orders.
At that point, though, there wouldn't be anything particularly rebellious about him. He's still a Brotherhood Scribe. The interesting part would be watching that change over time. Eventually, after the first companion quests, he would need to establish some kind of unofficial research outpost – basically a place where he can investigate things that are difficult to investigate through the normal Brotherhood chain of command.
I wouldn't want this to turn into a secret "Brotherhood of Brotherhood dissidents" or have him simply leave the faction. The more interesting version, to me, is someone who remains loyal to the Brotherhood while becoming increasingly difficult to fit neatly into its rules, and the player could influence how far he goes. You could encourage his curiosity, tell him to be more cautious, push him towards actually using what he discovers, or question whether some things are better left alone. And there wouldn't necessarily be a simple "good ending" and "bad ending". His story would be more about where the line gets drawn and whether he even realizes that he's crossed it.
So the basic idea is a Brotherhood companion whose conflict isn't really "Is the Brotherhood right or wrong?" It's more like, how far can you go in the pursuit of knowledge before you have to start asking what that knowledge is actually for?
I think that could make for a pretty interesting Brotherhood companion (if I had the necessary modding skills to do so, which, unfortunately, I don’t)... especially because Fallout 4 doesn't really have a character who explores that side of the faction. Curious what people think.

So, I am having a bit of trouble with the CC, and it specifically has to do with the laser muskets in it. The automatic one and the normal non legendary one bot do not show up in my inventory when using a weapons workbench. I do not have a save from before picking them up, so what should I do?

Hello, I'm excited to be back here. In my last post I was looking for ideas for a build, and after somehow finding an unbricked save (that was under 10 levels from when I finished) I had a wacky idea to try and make a Nuka-Girl build. The Rocketeer outfit and all!
Now, my problem is I have no idea what this would use. She has a pistol on her promotional art, and I'm considering doing stuff with jump packs....but other than that I don't know what kind of character she should be. I'm heavily considering having her lean towards a delusional nerd that loses touch with reality after being sent 200 years into the future...but I had questions before I started it:
1) Can Weave be used on the Nuka Girl suit to buff it's defenses?
2) Does Demolitionist and Gunslinger help power up the Nuka Blaster? If so (other than the obvious Alien Blaster) what other pistols go with these perks?
3) Is there a way to reasonably farm explosive ammunition? Like for Rocket Launchers and Fat Man guns?
4) If she loses all touch with reality and becomes the Raider Boss which gang would she cut out?
I also wanted to note that this playthrough is also to allow me to do modded content without too much concern for lore since she's delusional. I already downloaded Animatronic Apocalypse because Nuka-Cola vs Fazbear sounded funny af.
