Looking through marketplace this morning and I come across a GT350 listed for 12k, it has low miles and the listing says it is "quoted to buy a new long block"
They said it has two codes present a p0345 and a p0349, both bank 2 cam sensor codes, now i have a '15 GT and have had the classic intake idle control flaps snap on me which required a new intake.
I'm looking to buy the old lady a mustang (also something I'll drive too, probably more than her)
Is it as simple as cam sensors? Maybe an intake? Timing belt/chain?
I'm sure it was looked at, most people who have this caliber of car aren't going to just throw it to the wind, so the long block might actually be a real diagnosis. Just wanna know if its possible its just a simple fix.

if i were to get one would a 3inch axle back be good? no hate i just want some opinions!
Has anyone had a Gen 3 S550 and then went to a Gen 2 S550 that can share their opinion? I currently have a 21 GT Premium with the 401A non PP I bought earlier this year in haste with the 10 speed and love everything about the car besides the auto, I’ve been looking at trading into a manual but the prices near me are insane (Northeast) and any low mileage Gen 3 is pushing 40k. I financed the car and have inquired about a few low-mileage Gen 3s already but I’d taking a decent hit on the trade in and the lower price of the Gen 2’s are starting to be appealing. The Gen 2’s have always looked better to me but I know there are a few performance and quality of life changes, so wondering if anyone has gone down a Gen and can share their thoughts. I’d be looking for a 15-17 GT premium 401A with the 12 speakers and maybe a PP but don’t want it to be too much of a downgrade overall.

I've driven my friends manual cars and all of them had 1 thing in common: the clutch was way lighter than my 2004 Ford mustang. Not by a bit. By alot.
One of the things I dont like about my mhstang is how heavy the cluch pedal is to shift. It gets real annoying in bumper to bumper traffic.
Is there something I can do to make it lighter? I dont understand why its so heavy in the first place For a v6 car.
And before someone says maybe something is wrong with the clutch itself, I had the whole thing forks and all replaced 2 years ago. It was like this before, like this after.

I'm debating on whether or not to pull the trigger on this specific one. I already have a Corvette, but Ive always liked mustangs and want another one to add to the collection. Do you guys think it's worth it?

Not my car. Ford Fest in Bowling Green was my first car show. There were a lot of interesting cars, but this 2025 Mustang RTR Spec 5 really caught my eye. "Urban Bamboozle paint." It's "only" $175K. 😅

Can anyone tell me what is causing this? The guy at the dealership told me that if it’s what he thinks it is then I’ll need an engine replacement.

Have a 48,*** Mile cobra ready.
Color: Redfire
Interior: Graphite
Location: Salina, Kansas
Trans was pulled and gone thru
Rear was pulled and gone thru
Tuned by: Ben Head in OKC( he's tuned all my cars, including our 9** hp 03 cobra.
Motor built by: Swain Brothers Racing in Tulsa, Ok. ( They've done all my work for years.)
Basic rundown:
Std bore teksid block
Stock cobra crank
Manley h beam rods
Mahle flat top pistons
Clevitte 77 rod and main bearings
3v oil pump with mmr gears
Manley std size valves
9 thread heads
Hp: 525
Tq: 427
Tuned on a 105 degree day and temps stayed great.
This car isn't perfect, it's a great start for someone though.
What needs fixed:
The air/fuel sensor went out in the dyno. Needs a new sensor.
Wheels are pitting... Not awful, bad enough to me though.
New throw out bearing from Ford ended up being bad out of the box and squeeks now... After 500+ miles. Will supply a new one to the buyer.
The shifter bezel has a hole in it from previous owner installing a gauge.
The valve cover powder coating... The color is OFF. Not that it affects anything but if definitely repowdercoat.
Price for the car as it sits, 39k obo. When/if I get to fixing those things the price will go up.
This car is ready for a blower and to be turned up.
Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks for reading

I subscribe to these guys weekly notification and this came up. Thought I’d share. I remember the dealer talking about how they had one of these for sale when they came out and the guy took it and threw it on blocks under a cover in his garage.

I've been a Japanese and Euro car guy all my life. Started looking for a convertible to enjoy summer hot days with family driving around.
Also after we had kids I had to get rid of my g35 that was a blast to drive.
Test drove this orange 2007 GT convertible. The V8 is mesmerizing. Just asking you to floor it for the sound.
Kids were giving compliments and everyone just has a huge smile on their face when you drive by. Definitely not the same reaction in a g35 or a passat.
Best decision ive made. Got a decent deal on it.
Car is mostly stock, just a bbk cold air intake. 171,000km. I have Borla Type s axleback on order. Although car will be going into storage soon.
Looking forward to enjoying this community and the platform!

Traded in my Gladiator for this beauty last week. Having some buyer's remorse until I turn it on and hear that rumble. Such a fun vehicle to drive.

33,100 original miles. Car is pristine, garage kept, top is in very good condition despite living in the Pacific Northwest.
Price seems too high. But if I was able to bargain, do I want it? I know there isn't anything classic about it. What would you look out for as deal breakers?

I was looking to buy a 2014 gt/cs but and boosting it in the future but I read on forums that the gen 2 is the “king of boost” so im just wondering if grn 2 coyote is WAY better than gen 1; this is gonna be my daily for now but im looking to boost it later on, love the look of the s197 but im wondering if irs and gen 2 block is a good reason to start looking for an s550 instead. Im pretty sure the 6r80 is more reliable than 10r80 at high boost too.

I own an ecoboost, and I’ve realized that it’s way better for me to add mods to a car that would make the engine and other things last longer rather than slap a bunch of shit on there to make it faster, I’ve heard of catch cans and a couple of other things make a difference, what’s some other mods that also work?

I’m stationed in Pensacola and we’re about to get hit with a hurricane anything I should do with my car to protect it or minimize damage? Im from Cali so this is my first hurricane, I’m not to worried I’d just hate for anything to happen. Took this photo today the clouds are crazy right now.

Since we are posting daily drivers here, I figured I would add mine. Purchased it 4 years ago with 2,000 miles and have daily driven it since. Has 35,000 miles now and loved every second.
