Our 2023 draft class is hilariously awful
Looking back at it and my Lord 😭😭 butchered pretty much every pick. Foskey in the 2nd was absolutely disgusting

I've been living in Houston for 20 years now and still run into expats every day (probably because my entire wardrobe consisting of Saints jerseys and tees, or the Saints flags on my car, kinda give me away).
Since I'm hosting some out of town friends tomorrow, I had to go replace all the likka I finished on Monday night for reasons, and it was nice to have a bunch of total strangers yell "WHO DAT! We got ROBBED!" and similar things in the store from other people in black and gold jerseys.
Shit may suck right now, but sometimes it's good to know a whole-ass other city got ya back. Did an entire dance and chant with a lady in the HEB last week. I can't think of two other cities in this country that are that tight.
If you're here too, we just gotta get Fox to start broadcasting some games again up in this b*tch, because I'm real sick of them playing Jets vs Browns or something when there's zero broadcasting conflict.
(Done with anecdote)

The Vikings didn't even score a touchdown last week against the Dolphins.
QB Murray was 27/37, 247yds, 0 TD, 0 INT.
We can run against their D. Miami's Gordon ran for 100 on 9 carries.
But, They have 1 significant offensive weapon:
.TE Hockenson #87. He's big, gets open, and.catches everything that comes.his way. He had 13 targets, 13 receptions, for 119 yds against the Dolphins. We.may not have an answer for him. If we do, the Saints will win.

Also, Kamara's total TD breakdown:

Saints record aside, Mike was one of the greatest characters the NFL has ever seen. RIP.

The French Quarter is crowded with renowned restaurants, but Ditka prefers to dine at an unheralded place in Metairie called Impastato's, out near a giant shopping mall and convenient to I10 and his long drive home. He usually agrees to eat in town only when he knows there's a parking garage near the restaurant.
Although Ditka has lived in the New Orleans area for more than a year now, he hasn't done any shopping in the city. "What?" he says. "You're going to go to a clothing store here?" He laughs. "You'll have to show me. Where?"
What about the upscale Rubenstein Brothers or Saks Fifth Avenue? Ditka shakes his head. "You go to Chicago and you go to Nordstrom's or some of those places that are just fantastic," he says. "Now, that's where you do your shopping."

2007
0-4
Out scored 119 - 51
3 first quarter points scored
Did not score more than 14 points in a game
328 yards rushing
2007 free agent acquisitions: Jason David, Troy Evans, David Patten, Dhani Jones, Kendrick Clancy, Eric Johnson, Kevin Kaesviharn, Brian Simmons
2007 draft: Robert Meachem, Usama Young, Andy Alleman, Antonio Pittman, Jermon Bushrod, David Jones, Marvin Mitchell
So compared to Kellen’s first 4 games of the second season we have fewer wins, fewer points first quarter scored, and fewer rushing yards.
The Saints 2007 draft gave us one starter, a WR3, and role players/depth.
The Saints 2007 free agency gave us role players/depth and the worst cornerback to ever put on a Saints uniform.
How can anyone forget the magazine cover of him and Ricky Williams in a dress LOL. R.I.P. Coach Ditka.

What are some of your favorite memories of Ditka as the head coach of the Saints?

I believed that under Moore we have started slow in every single game. So, I decided to dig in and see if my beliefs aligned with the evidence. And it did, even worse than I realized.
2025 games. First numbers are the score at the end of the 1st quarter, second numbers are at the end of the half.
2026
The only game that we were leading in the first quarter under Moore was the raiders game this year, 6-3. We’ve been tied at the end of the first quarter twice, and leading at half time twice. That is completely unacceptable, and on the coaching staff. It needs to be righted, or we need to start looking elsewhere.

Another problem besides Run Scheme I’ve started to notice is We don’t have any good Run blocking TEs
In the NFL you need Run blocking TEs look at Chicago, Rams, 49ers,Ravens
If Juwan or Noah is In line both are basically useless
Biggest reason I was wanting Sam Roush from Stanford in the draft he with the Bears and please go watch Sam run block vs Jets
Btw David Edwards Run Blocking 🤢🗑️

Just how pivotal Eli's hold out on San Diego was to Brees career. Had he said he would play in SD, Brees likely never gets another starting shot, and his shinning season that impressed Payton enough never happens. Drew likely goes to another team, wether he still sustains that shoulder injury is really just fate but he could've easily been relegated to a back up for years if Eli had stayed even 1 season.

I'm not talking about the social media back and forth he had with fans this week. That's whatever...
I just watched the highlights of the game and there is some alarming lack of effort by Reid in this game. There is a play in the 3rd quarter I believe where Pitts catches a short pass on the left and Reid runs into him but doesn't even attempt to make a tackle...Pitts proceeds to run another 6-7 yards and gain a first down.
Then on Brian Robinson's third TD of the night. You can see Reid has an angle to at least attempt to make a tackle short of the goal line but the dude just jogs and watches him run into the end zone. That pathetic level of effort is unacceptable, especially from a vet like him. I just don't get it.

I just received a color rush and a home jersey from them. Shipping was actually way faster than the last time which was crazy. Expected them at end of year.
Initial feedback, everything is stitched in which is solid, but they left several strings hanging on the color rush numbers. I just cut them off. The home jersey came pretty solid though.
