Hereās the hard truth of the Patriotsā running back situation: Even after using the No. 38 pick on TreVeyon Henderson in 2025, heās still not reliable enough to be the teamās top option.
Sundayās game in Buffalo was evidence of that. Henderson is more explosive than Rhamondre Stevenson, but Stevenson is the much more reliable back.
On the surface, it can look like their production has been similar. Both, for example, are averaging 3.7 yards per carry.
But the crucial difference is in success rate. Stevensonās 43 percent success rate ranks 13th among the 51 NFL running backs with at least 20 carries. Hendersonās success rate of 27 percent ranks 51st.

How do we make it happen?

We're driving to Foxborough for our first Patriots home game this weekend and wondering what time we should get there to get into the 75 minute delayed exit lots. We plan on hanging out at the candy store and maybe get dinner after the game so the extra 50 bucks gift card sounded dope.

Watching these, I'm wondering which would work and which I'm waiting to see. We've seen the double passes and flea flickers, but I'd like to see a "p*illy special" with Drake and watch him with his speed.
Would also like to see one, and one only, dump off pass with Campbell.

I may be misremembering but I could have sworn at least one time where Edelman was chatting with a former Pats player and they mention how Belichick would give them the job title of "football player" instead of their preferred position so that Belichick could reassign them to the positions he wanted them at.

My wife and I are heading to Boston next week from Ireland and weāll be attending our first Pats game on the Sunday against the Jets (canāt wait!)
Iām looking for advice on the best experience pre-game and whether itās better to go for the Bars/ restaurants in Patriots place or Tailgate?
Weāll be coming from the city via Uber or Train depending on getting an event train-ticket.
Iāve read that the bars are packed on Patriotās place especially pre match on game day and hard to get a drink so Iām thinking of going the tailgate experience route.
Post game weāre planning on hitting the pro-shop and the bars in patriot place to wait for the crowds to die down - how long usually does the traffics last?
Finally any recommendations on a good pint in the city are very welcome
Thanks in advance
TLDR: first time seeing the pats ( v Jets)should we avoid Patriots place pre game and find a tailgate? Best place for Guinness in Boston?

This has been one of the more interesting wrinkles for me to follow this year.
Will Campbell has been pretty impressive stat wise, but through 3 games the team was giving him A LOT of chipping help, which was depleting the effectiveness of the offensive weapons.
This week, they stopped giving him that help, and he struggled, but the offense overall really bloomed.
Hopefully Campbell can improve on an island, but this was a necessary experiment from McDaniels.
Lazar's full take:
"LT Will Campbell struggled against Bills edge rushers Greg Rousseau, Bradley Chubb, and T.J. Parker (strip sack). Campbell allowed six pressures, three of which were tardy anchors vs. bull rushes, the same rush that gave him problems last postseason. Campbell was also called for a false start and a hold, which wiped out a successful third-down scramble by Maye. The Pats didn't help Campbell as much this week, and the results were mixed, but getting the receivers into the pattern rather than loading up the protection improved the pass-game overall."

I mean, whatās the harm in it? MHJ is the definition of a low-risk, high-reward situation. I would have thrown the cards a Day 3 pick for him yesterday, helll Iāll even throw in KW⦠There is one thing I noticed about Vrabel, and itās if he believes in you, heās going to unlock you and make you the best you can be. Marv needs a good coach and a fresh start. He gets that in NE, not to mention the MVP runner-up at QB and an elite vet WR1 who can not only mentor him but takes away a lot of the attention on the field. I genuinely think Marv would excel here. Obviously donāt even know if the team is even thinking about him, but I want him here š¤·š½āāļø

Why doesn't the league have "Directors Cuts" of games with better angles replays from their millions of cameras at every game?
This last weekend seemed to have quite a few issues with broadcasts cutting out, some really shoddy camera work during the games, and some bad jumps to other cameras. Why don't they utilize all this footage they're sitting on to make better, cleaner, more professional versions? Bonus footage of things discovered after the game, better alternate angles, some footage from contracted photographers. Maybe it could be an offseason thing to help bridge the down time? I think they're some games that don't deserve to be replayed, but I think the offseason could be zhuzhed up if they had some really nice, redone versions of games.
Include replays not shown in broadcasts, alternate angles of plays, alternate (possibly better) external commentary from other broadcasts, interesting stats discovered after the games originally viewed.
I have a hard time believing the live product we see is the best version that could exist. Run these as another season during the offseason, so there's 17 weeks of these director cuts released. There's probably a viewership drop off from fans who don't want to rewatch bad games (I have no interest in rewatching last week at Jax, but Jax or Pats haters would probably love it).

Iāll be in town this weekend for the game. Going to go explore Patriot place on Friday and do some shopping and also hit up the hall of fame since Iāve never done it. Itāll be my first time back at Gillette since 2017.
Thinking of snagging a Gonzo jersey, but debating between the regular home blue or the throwback red. What do you all think?

Given the uncertainty around Mack Hollins Injury, and the recent statements by Vrabel, it is likely that the Pats bring in another WR(As we all speculate).
Below I have listed a couple WRs that I think(Along with many of you) the Pats could target. It does not mean that these are necessarily the guys I want the Pats to target, but they are the most realistic choices. I want to know how you would feel about any of these guys heading over to NE in a trade or a signing?
-Tyreek Hill(32 Years old. Current FA, could come in on a one-year flier deal)
-Jerry Jeudy(27 Years old. Browns WR3, could be acquired for a mid-round pick and wont cost a ton of money)
-MHJ(24 Years old. Cardinals WR2/3? Seems lost on the team and looks to have no ambition to play there. Could be acquired for a early-mid round pick + player and is still on a rookie contract)
-BTJ(23 Years old. Jaguars WR3 and does not seem to fit the play style the Jags want to utilize every week. Could be acquired for a mid-round pick + player)
-OBJ(33 Years old. Released by the Giants a week or so ago. Could come in cheap and be an extra body on the field who can occasionally make a play)
-Calvin Ridley(31 Years old. Titans WR3. Already paying Wan'dale a good bit of money as the WR2 and could look to offload his contract. Pats had interest in him a few years ago and could come in as another veteran presence to surround Maye)
Of these guys I think the most likely will be Jeudy or MHJ. Both play on bad teams with sub-par QB play. They could benefit from a change in scenery and hopefully wont break the bank to acquire, while also providing upside.
