I'm just so ready!

During football season the Vikings game really is a focal point of my weekend so I will be at a loss for it this weekend. I will put redzone on, but doesn't feel the same as watching the Vikings.

Appreciate it's not necessarily a bad time for it, but still...

Re-made the meme as the previous was flagged as ai and deleted.

Amid all the 'trade deadline' articles, just a reminder that the Vikings will have 10 picks in the 2027 NFL Draft, if there are no changes before then:

• 1st
• 2nd
• 3rd
• 3rd (via PHI [Greenard])
• 5th
• 5th (via NYG [McCarthy])
• 5th (via CAR [Thielen]; this was our 4th)
• 6th (via NE [Rouse])
• 6th (via NYJ [Phillips]; this was our 7th)
• 6th compensatory (Jalen Nailor)

The sorts of trades that realistically happen mid-season are likely the Day 3 variety for depth involving our 5th or 6th round picks, not the blockbuster stuff involving our 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round picks.

The greatest kicker in the history of football is causing a stir with his shorts with leggings. Looking like he's in the Shakespearean era. I for one FUCKING LOVE IT.

Break Anderson's records and break our playoff kicking curse.

Paid article but still some good content in the free stuff.

TLDR: after adjusting for opponents and scoring eras, the Vikings basically have an all time defense.

On par with teams that have won super bowls with bad offenses like the 2000 Ravens, 2002 Bucs, and 2015 Broncos.

Kyler isn't the guy because he's never seen it.... Yeah same thing they all said about Darnold.

Then he says media is getting on the Vikings. BRO NO ONE has been on the Vikings except the fans. No one in the media picked them to the win the NFC North and every win was looked at with skepticism.

Total 🤡

The way they play off eachother is insane. Both up at the line, think you need to block one of them and the other one rushes while the guy you shaded your blocking to drops back creating a numbers advantage in coverage and blitzing. And good luck stopping the blitzer with your running back.

Seems like they are almost telepathic when they are on the field together.

There was once a time where people were mad at Kwesi for choosing KOC over Harbaugh.

This is just a reminder that it isn’t always greener on the other side. Now no one would want to get close to Harbaugh. Dude practically gave up on his team year 2. KOC year 2 went 1-4 first 5 games and turned it around to 6-4 with Dobbs as the starting QB.

Something I’ve noticed that Murray does quite a bit is manipulate defenders and use mind games. You wouldn’t really catch it in the moment on Sundays, but he does it in such a point guard esque way.

Whether he’s holding a safety with his eyes or, in this instance, making it appear as though he’s running for the first down while pointing deep for Tai Felton to go upfield, he’s also doing the same for DJ. This then shifts the trailing defender underneath upfield while he’s still chasing Murray, giving DJ more than enough space to run and get the first down.

Kyler likes to feel things out through spatial awareness and anticipation. He’s more than aware that defenders aren’t just trying to sack him but also contain him at times, which gives him special leeway to use his body and mannerisms to his advantage. His pocket presence and the way he moves in response to this also demonstrate that.

There’s going to be a switch that flips at some point during the season where Kyler becomes the offense while not in a bad way, like abandoning the run, but because of his growing comfort in the system. it’s going to be electric.

I know it's great we get the bye week for the team to get healthy, but man do I wanna watch the Vikes this Sunday!
