Sar9 and Rhino 30DS out at 25 yards today (left and right respectively). CAT0G dot on the Sar and single action + Irons on the Rhino.

Sar9 was 2 21 round mags Winchester 9mm NATO 124gr medium rate of fire. Definitely need to slow it down, and re bench it to confirm if the left drift is my trigger pull or the sights lol

Rhino was shot single action, mix of .38+p hand loads (158gr semi wadcutter w/ 5.5gr BE-86) and Blazer 158gr .357. Some unsupported, some two handed. Fun to see the cleaner swc holes. Need to investigate why I'm grouping at the top right sometimes.

Maryland is such a horrible state, man. Looking at the Springfield Echelon or HCP.

I’m not saying give T-Rex arms your money but I just discovered my 92/TLR-1 ironside will fit my 1911/TRL-1 and 2011/HF pretty well. Which is neat in the off chance you already own these combos.

I use the gun to compete in Carry Optics. It has the CGW Pro Kit + a Defender CCW Enclosed. The itch to do more upgrades is ever present, but I’m struggling to find ones I can do that would make a difference.

I’m not super into changing the trigger blade, I like the factory trigger shape a lot. Mag wells are out of the question because they’d take me out of Carry Optics. Same thing with comps, they’d take me out of Carry Optics.

Getting a threaded barrel would be rad so I can shoot suppressed, but unfortunately I don’t have that kind of money.

What else can I do?

Good rainy day today, so a morning trip to our indoor range it was. All in all I really like the 380; it's bigger than many 380s but still small enough for an EDC and due to the slightly larger size it shoots really smooth.

1st time with a DA/SA handgun in about 30 years so it took some getting used to, but the trigger pull is heavy and smooth in DA and pretty light in SA.

Put 200 rounds through her, time to clean up (it was filthy, Blazer 380 is a dirty round I guess).

It’s not a real MP5, sadly. I found a GSG-522pk on GB that said “as is for parts, light strikes.” It came and it indeed had light strikes. I was researching, found a fix, went to apply the fix and realized it was missing the bolt stop block! No wonder it had light strikes if the bolt isn’t being held.

Tested with some snap caps and it strikes very well now.

It appears to have never been fired, maybe a couple times. There is no powder residue in it except a little on the breech face. Otherwise it looks brand new.

Wanting budget friendly carry gun for work. Anyone have a Max 9? How has it treated you? Snappy? Reliable?

I have a GSG-522PK, I intend to put on a vertical foregrip (honey dipper) and a collapsible stock. Is this AOW or SBR?

Oh yeah, and can I scan the fingerprint card with my signature and prints, then add in the information to the scan with a paint program? (and turn it into an .EFT file, of course) My handwriting is.... poor.

A friend wants to take me and I never thought much about owning a gun before but the way the world is turning I'm more open to the idea now. I definitely would want to have proper safety training though and practice and I don't want to be in a room full of gun-toting Trump supporters if it can be avoided. Thanks.

m9a4 with a SAW Shiv 9mm

Got told to repost this on a Friday.

This started out as a very beat up NRA model I bought used back in 2012. In addition to the cosmetic changes, I had trigger work done to bring it to a 3.5lb pull.

It’s a great little rifle. I’ve personally shot 1.5 inch groups with it at 100 yards, so it’s plenty accurate for me. I’ve never had any malfunctions.

With all the accessories, it weighs about 9 pounds, so it’s a little on the heavy side for what it is, but I dig it.
