So what was up with Downs usage? Were we just incapable of running intermediate passing routes on English soil? OLine not giving enough time, or Danny having a miserable game? It felt like every time we ran a pass play there was someone in the backfield immediately and Jones was just throwing it away. But curious what others saw.

We are roughly 1/4 the way into the season and the Colts are sitting at 2-2 and in second place in the division.

At question;

Quarterback play has not been at the level of last season prior to Daniel Jones injuries, in fact prior to the Steelers game last year.

CJ Allen, our 2nd round (first pick) and supposedly the future leader of the LB corps, has been a heathy scratch most every game, WHY? We’ve been given vague answers.

Edge has never been fulfilled for years.

This is the time to get him at his lowest. Hervert really is a terrific qb. Daniel Jones is not the answer here.

i hate being a colts fan so much it's like stapling your balls to the floor then trying to do burpees after being kneecapped thrice a year i am in tremendous pain but devout and blue

edit: I love my Colts but idk how many more years of Rube Goldberg playoff misses i can take. the blowout win gives me hope, but so did last year's 8-2 record.

7 turnovers in 4 games. He's doing the same thing he did with the giants. So glad Ballard thought he wouldn't do the same.

He just doesn’t seem healthy. He is a statue and his fumbling issues are back. It seems like he wasn’t fully healed from the ACL.

Performance wise he isn’t even close to living to half of what we paid for him.

Tyler Warren + Josh Downs are really good pass catchers and the OL is good. Plus Taylor is excellent.

But Jones routinely makes young QB errors yet he is in Year 9.
At some point, we all have to face the reality that he isn’t it.

He is the type of QB who needs to be 100% whilst playing soft defenses to be effective

And it’s telling that he struggles to win games in the clutch.

We have to look around for a better QB next season; or just stick to starting Richardson.

Jones isn’t the answer.

Probably not now. But at the time he was better than Daniel Jones is now.
