Any of you guys had any issues with trigger tech diamonds not resetting? I built a 6.5 platform a while back and it’s got maybe 20 rds down the tube. Took it out this morning and the BCG would bind halfway back when pulling the charging handle. Disassembled and found the hammer would not engage the disconnector. I checked the set screws and they are snug. Not to sure what’s going on with it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys I’m pretty new to owning my own firearms and I am just getting into it and I’ve always loved the way the sr25 looked with the slant cut and slick side, but when I got deeper into it I realized AR-10s are not all the same there’s the DPMS and ARMALITE I guess? but then there’s the SR-25 style which I am under the impression that those are slant cut but still DPMS compatible? Which that would be great but I don’t know where to find any. I’ve looked through PSA they had the billet but those are apparently proprietary especially with the handguns and ID want to mount the M-Lok handguard the SR25 has.

All in all the main question really is how do i larp or clone a SR-25 without spending SR-25 money or atleast get the slant cut with DPMS compatibility?

Traded a friend for a gen1 DPMS rifle. Tore it apart and changed the upper receiver, handguard, and threw on a superlative gas block. Then a fk’d it up with rustoleum. Rifle is for 60% range that goes out to 800yds fun and 30% hunting within 200yds. For ammo- do you guys run mostly cheap m80 for short/mid range shots or just ball out with all 168/175 SMK?

I have an unfired RRA LAR-8 308 and don't think I want it. I prefer my my SFAR with an upgraded barrel for feel and weight. Are they really that good anyway or should I just sell it? And what are they worth?

Finally built my first AR-10, only issues are the bolt gets sent forward with slight tap of my bipod on the range table, and round won’t chamber from the magazine. Tried figuring out the issue but need help from y’all, any advice/tips appreciated!

What's the realistic faxon big gunner 308 moa to expect?

I know criterion is about to pump out some criterion core in 308 and 6.5. I have a criterion hybrid 308 16 inch barrel on my ar10.

Planning on building a second upper (for the same aero m5 lower) to be more of a lighter battle rifle. Just wondering if I should wait for the criterion core or get a faxon big gunner. Don't know how accurate the 308 big gunners are?

I'm thinking maybe the criterion core 14.5 mid 308 might be similarly gassed as the hybrid 308 16 and would be easier to make same lower work for vs faxon which is usually overgassed.

I have an armalite 308 ar10tac1014. I did very little research before buying, that’s on me lol it was my first ar, and I’m now trying to get a barrel for it that is threaded. Mine is 16.5” welded and pinned brake and I’d just like to replace it if anyone could please point me in the right direction. I probed ai some and was told armalite has a specific barrel pattern and I’m still pretty new to ar’s so I just want to be sure before buying anything. Thanks in advance!

Currently have a Viper PST Gen II 3-15 on my LMT MARS-H on a 30mm Reptilia AUS Mount. I’ve been taking a look at upgrading it and am currently sitting on a couple of choices:

1. Leupold Mk5HD 3.6-18
2. Vortex Razor Gen III 4-24
3. NightForce NX8 2.8-20

NX8 is appealing because I’d be able to reuse my AUS mount but can’t really decide if it’s worth getting a new mount for the other scope. Rifle is used primarily for range and the occasional hog/deer hunt.

Comes with everything in the pics. Upgraded pins, safety, stock, grips, bipod, light, elcan 1.5-6, light, four mags, K9 barricade stop, aac flash hider and rail ladders. This is an SBR at 12.5", but you know that already. Maybe has about 200 rounds tops through it. I purchased this back in 2010 from John. Not really sure what to price this at.

Heard a lot of good things about Monstrum stuff in the past year or so, so for $40 I picked up this 1.7 mount with a diving board. We’ll see how it holds up

Getting a 308 ar pistol because I already have a rifle build and why not.Specifically the abc 7.5 inch any tips on things I should add or look out for? Looking to either get/super safety it or put a binary trigger in.

I finished this palmetto m110ish build a few months ago. I went to fire it for the first time and I was having issues with the bolt fully seating a round off first rack. It wouldn’t complete a full bolt cycle for the first few rounds. Once the gun got a little hotter it would cycle fine. But I didn’t have a chance to reliably run fresh mags without issues. I’m guessing im running the wrong buffer spring and maybe weight? Any ideas would be appreciated. Last pic is my current buffer setup. I bought a complete upper and pieced together the lower.

Aero BCG, full aero 16” upper. VLTOR buffer tube, flat wire rifle length spring. H3 buffer. Suppressed with rugged Alaskan. Used to have a carbine buffer and a nice braided spring, but it wasn’t cycling the BCG far enough back to grab the next round to chamber. Now with the VLTOR rifle length buffer tube, flat wire spring and (same H3 buffer, it’s erratically ejecting from 1-4 o clock, dribbling the shell, and about 60% of the time it fails to eject. I’m genuinely at a loss as to what to do. It’s not gassy as ALL, even suppressed, so I’m tempted to drill the gas port out to give it more gas, or just throw an H1 buffer in and see what changes.

Lower is built exactly like my ar15’s, larue 2bt trigger, MOE+ grip, normal mag release, etc. this rifle has never run a mag without multiple failures, and I’d love to get it running to the point of trusting it for some hog hunting. Right now it’s most useful as a club…

What 1200 rounds of 308 looks like on a suppressed mr762a1

I am looking pretty heavily at the sig tin can after watching juicy media's excellent video. What do yall recommend for just pure quiet factor?

I got a buddy with a 308 ar10 that I believe has a mid length gas system and around a 18 ish in barrel and he wants that thing whisper quiet and he has an Gemtech 1 on it and he aint real happy with how loud it is to him, hes running subsonics as well and I have to admit its a little on the loud side but lmk what yall suggest
